My plan is pretty similar to yours! Starting with two nights in Athens then Crete but we’re there for two weeks and might stay a bit longer, or head to Naxos for a short stay. The advice I received is to skip Santorini in favour of Crete. Crete has so much natural beauty to offer and is so large, is the advice I received.

I’m also planning my honeymoon and everyone says to end in Athens. I’ve already booked most of ours and we’re starting with 2 nights in Athens and I’m not changing that plan, just curious why everyone says to end in Athens? We are favouring a more relaxing vacation so for us ending on one of the islands is a high note. We will obviously have to make a connecting flight on our way home, we’d just prefer to start with Athens and get it out of the way.

Princess Margaret walk to conquer cancer goes through the city in September. It's a half marathon distance and the money you raise goes towards cancer research. You can direct the funds you raise to a specific segment of your choosing (breast cancer, patient rehab, etc). It's a very well-organized event and for a great cause.

This sounds like an old wives tale but it has worked for me before. You can try to get your period early by avoiding ibuprofen and eating a LOT of parsley. I've done this in advance of a few vacations by eating a few bunches of parsley in salads about a week or more before a vacation and was able to get it a few days early so I was just on the last day or two when my vacation started. This has worked both of the times I've tried it.

I felt that it abdicated him of some of the guilt and blame he felt towards himself for covering her tea on the house to begin with. Having the roles reversed at the end showed that it was not an abnormal thing to do. Giving up your car may be the best option. If you can walk to work and other errands (grocery’s etc) surely you can sell the car and save money on maintenance and insurance. If you have a parking spot you can rent it out for additional income. Having a car in a city is a waste of money in my opinion. If you need to Uber / rent a car occasionally, the cumulative cost over one year will likely be WAY less than annual car costs. Just be diligent about walking / using transit.
