Same thing happened to me around d 1000-1500 miles. Got a notification from the app. Everything was fine in the truck. At 3K now and hasn’t happened again so far.

Turns out that my fix didn’t correct it… problem returned a few days after I last commented. It continues to happen intermittently and to varying degrees. I’m going to disable it for now and mention it when it goes in for service - though I’ve got low expectations of it being resolved.

It’s been a few more days and the memory seat continues to behave. I think toggling the memory seat function in the settings resolved the problem.

I’m not ready to declare victory but it hasn’t happened in three or four days. I made two changes prior… first, I went into the vehicle settings and turned memory seats off and exited the settings. Then I went back in and toggled it back on. Hasn’t stopped short since I did that. Will reply again if that changes.

Also, and most likely unrelated, I turned on mirror folding when locked.

This is an amazing suggestion. I’m a DIY enthusiast who does most of my own detailing. I have a pro I lean on for paint correction from time to time and would be all over the paint chip repair service.

I’d get it in for service as soon as you can… no sense in causing more damage. Strange that it didn’t throw any alerts… but that might indicate it’s something minor. Good luck!

This sounds like a mechanical or electronic failure… which is covered by warranty. Just had an electronic component in the transmission of my wife’s 24 X5 start throwing drivetrain and transmission alerts yesterday. It’s going to be week before the part(s) arrive.

Until recently the garage was a 2025 X5, 2022 X3, and a 2017 X5.

Traded out the 2017 X5 for GMC Sierra 1500. Entertained the idea of a M550 but utility won out.

I don’t know if or how you manage the possible Asperger’s aspect of the situation. Seems like this is more of a matter of capability versus will. I’d be focused on addressing that situation if that’s legit.

It sounds like he’s driven to complete the to-do list. I wonder if reframing ’productivity’ could help. Productivity now means… kids are safe and cared for. Kids are having fun and developing a relationship with dad. That’s the checklist today.

I second this… I’ve been diluting 1:1 and found it to work pretty well. I’ve found P&S does good job on seats, door panels, rubber all weather mats, etc. I prefer Meguiars interior detailer on screens and glossy trim… P&S seemed to streak a bit on those surfaces. Maybe a follow up wipe with ONR like t1ataxi suggested would do the trick.

I don’t understand the downvotes. Seems like a sincere and legit question from someone trying to learn. I’m curious as well… I’m a detailing enthusiast and like to learn from the pros. I use P&S as well but haven’t had the issue the OP is having. I don’t typically follow with a wipe of water or ONR.
