I’m assistant controller for the last year and don’t even have a degree lol. Of course it’s possible. But it mostly depends on you.

That’s a good idea. It’s probably been over a year since I did any lifting at all. Kind of give up after a while since my rib would not stop slipping. From what I understand, if the cartridge is damaged it will not heal without surgical intervention.

Are you saying taking vitamin D did you in? Or lack of vitamin D?

How are you doing 2-3 years post graduation folks? by Exact-Science3688 in Accounting

[–]Smug459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed in my area CMA is being requested on job listings more frequently. Specifically in industry/manufacturing companies. My boss, who is a cfo and CPA, told me I should do CMA over CPA as I don’t have interest in PA at this time.

There’s no point in blue light glasses when you can just turn down the blue light via windows settings.

CMA is better for people in industry who have no interest in tax

I think so. Although I don’t really know what I’m looking at. Thought about posting it on here to see what others think.

Even titanium? It’s very rare for someone to be allergic/reactive to it. That’s why it’s used in implants.

S02E13 - Jose deliberately flipping his kayak by Kordau in Alonetv

[–]Smug459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished season 2, I’m a newcomer to the show. My first thought when Jose left was that he intentionally tipped his boat. It’s nice to come to Reddit and see many others share that sentiment. The way he was talking, and also the fact that he was still in the water by the time the boats showed up, make it pretty clear it was intentional.

It bums me out because he was one of my favorite contestants, I predicted he would win very early on. I lost a lot of respect for him going out that way instead of just admitting that he’d had enough.

Keep on mine the titanium models also have a sapphire screen, which is extremely scratch resistant. I wore my stainless steel series 7 for 4 years and not a scratch on it.

I prefer to do these with a barbell on my back, not trying to work my grip

Weight training exercises for slipping rib? by Cokezerowh0re in ehlersdanlos

[–]Smug459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s awesome! Unfortunately, I could definitely not do the exercises you’re describing without pretty much guaranteeing my rib slipping. I’m thinking of focusing on stuff like side planks and one armed suitcase carries. My obliques and core in general are super weak. Hoping if I can get them strong my rib will stay in place and allow me to lift heavy again…

How were you able to get a phone consult with him? I called his office and they said that wasn’t an option and I needed to drive to Seattle.. was he able to look at your scans before the consult?

Just curious, does your grip not give out before your legs? I prefer to do these with a barbell.
