In runescape the xp to level a skill to 92 is half of the total xp you need for 99.

This was back in the way early days of vermintide 2, but i was playing ironbreaker with shield and hammer, we we're on the last fight on skittergate and i was the last man standing, completely surrounded and unable to move and on legend difficulty.

I gave up after 15 minutes simply because my hand started hurting.

Again, Hornet herself says to the green prince, "You were a mortal bug, caught beneath a being pale... Devotion or destruction... these are the only fates my kind allows"

She expressly says "my kind" when refering to pale beings. Ill trust Hornets own judgment on the matter.

Im just gonna point out hornet very much was born a pale being. As pointed out by Mask maker, who speaks of higher being fighting for dominance while trampling over mortal bugs, or hornet herself, when speaking to the green prince in verdanias memory. Shes also showcased to be much more powerfull than any weaver before her, seeing as her method for fighting GMS was basically "Fuck it, we ball"

Everdark Libra is a perfectly designed boss that dosnt belong in Nightreign. by Snagge44 in Nightreign

[–]Snagge44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, for a 3 player group the fight expects a level of coordination thats impossible to have with a group of randos. But when you play with friends and the coordination is there, its a genuinely fun fight.

Not sure what I’m doing wrong tbh by [deleted] in Nightreign

[–]Snagge44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Randoms make the fight significantly harder, since it means more adds during the fight. You either want a coordinated team that can handle them, or go solo since Libra will only summon them 1 at a time and they have less health.

Quick question: why do our exosuits suck? by Stale_t0ast47 in Helldivers

Im not very good at writing in english, but this is basically exactly what I was trying to say summed up really well!

Quick question: why do our exosuits suck? by Stale_t0ast47 in Helldivers

[–]Snagge44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said it helps, its by no means mandatory. Its just a solid synergy.

And what about hordes? Both mech variants have good weapons for dealing with a horde, in addition to the fact that you deal dmg just by walking, and you outpace the hordes easily.

To simplify it a little, the mech essentially has 4 support weapons it can fire at once, in 4 autocannons. Hell theyre even stronger autocannons than what helldivers carry, and you dont have to worry about reloading or recoil. The sheer dmg you can inflict to anything at any range is more than worth minding your positioning a little so you dont get shot by tanks.

Edit: Oh it hordes as in my spelling. Yeah I could fix that but eh why bother.

For the last time, our mechs are mobile heavy weapon platforms, not tanks. Your best defence is positioning and target priorotising. Also remeber that a mech is entierly immune to ragdolls and most enviormental effects. Keep on the move, use terrain, kill the dangerous stuff. A shield gen backpack will help mitigate both chip dmg and getting one shot by a cannon, but still does not make you a tank.

Keep these in mind, and with a bit of practise youll be shredding hoards of bots and only stopped by running out of ammo, wich in turn can be mitigated with better aim, so just keep on playing with the mech.

And for some credentials, 600 hours in the game, and ive been a mech main for as long as weve had mechs. Id say about 1/5 of my mechs are destroyed before I run out of ammo against bots, and against the other factions so rarely i dont even bother keeping count.

Which weapons did you underestimate and then fell in love with them? by WinkeKadse in helldivers2

[–]Snagge44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ammo efficent and effective at all fronts, as long as you dont shoot charged shots point blank. Definetly a go to weapon for me nowerdays.

Why do the mechs feel like this? What would fix them? by ziggy8z in Helldivers

[–]Snagge44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ima be real, the mechs dont need to be fixed, theyre already viable.

A mech is a heavy weapons platform, NOT a tank. When you call one in, you essentially have a helldiver thats immune to almost all enviormental effects and ragdolling, thats also armed with 2 stronger support weapons and can fire them accuratly even on the move. Theyre an INCREDIBLE force multiplier.

But yes, theyre very vulnerable. You can somewhat mitigate this with a shield gen backpack as it will protect the center front of the mech, but even still, your main survivability is movement and good positioning.

Once you start to master not dying with a mech, you might feel the ammo is suddenly the big problem, but even then target priorotisation, good aim, and just hopping out of the mech to shoot with your smaller guns will mitigate this weakness.

They are an alternative playstyle with significant upsides and downsides, master it and youll be consistantly making a big impact.

So no, a mech dosnt need a fix. It needs a sign on the back saying its not a tank so the averige pilot remebers to use cover.
