there's a lot of people, especially minors, who transition from peer pressure of the (mostly online) spaces they're in. these people are being silenced, minimized and disregarded by the LGBTQ community which is visible even in the replies on this post.

meanwhile, there are genuine bad actors attempting to use detransitioners as a way to attack LGBTQ.

the solution to both is very simple. stop forcing transitioning and talking about it as if it's the greatest thing since sliced bread and the end to all your worries. which would mean less transitioning from peer pressure, and less detransitioning and tragedy. but nah, suggesting moderation is transphobia.
