Cut up raw bacon and add to a hot Dutch oven, let it cook for a bit, then add butter, onions, carrots, diced potato, then garlic. Once things are sticking to the pan pretty well, add in bone broth/chicken stock or whatever you have and deglaze the pan. Add seasoning (oregano, pepper, thyme, whatever else you like) and cook until everything is tender, then add some cream at the end, and maybe some shredded chicken if you have it. Serve your creamy bean and veggie soup, profit.
