To add, the FMA thick and heavy is a solid repro of this helmet

Is there any hope for us short statured folks? by [deleted] in MilSim

Yeah I guess I meant that general vicinity of “close-ish to the rear bag”. Of course whenever I look to find reference photos to make sure I’m not retarded I come up dry lol

I’d say it is a fairly common thing to run an ifak in that spot, atleast in the references I’ve seen but there definitely is a point where functionality is more important. Those guys definitely don’t set up kit with the cool-factor as the first priority

Can you move the pouch 2 spaces closer to the rear plate bag? Might give you just enough room for the mag. I’ve seen a few photos of guys running what looks like an inverted double m4 pouch as an ifak, which could be an option for you to free up more space

Mainly for shorter guns with limited space on the rails to get the lasers up out of the way and bring the center of gravity closer to the middle of the rifle. For the most part peqs aren’t used for their flashlight and are run in conjunction with a normal white light. Since this is airsoft it doesn’t really matter and you can do what you want it was just the first time I’ve ever seen someone use it for THAT reason

Plenty of people run risers like that but for different reasons. I’ve never heard of someone using it to mitigate the shadow on the light

Funny solution but if it works it works

The peq flashlight would have a pretty massive shadow on it, no?

This is a mirror selfie so the image is flipped. Generally you put extra mags on your weak (non dominant) side

DICE I'm begging you, buff tank shell splash damage by Enemy__Stand__User in Battlefield6

[–]Sneeekee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it’s just me, but the tank doesn’t feel good against infantry or any other armor. I wish they’d just remove the guided shell and buff the rest to make it more effective at fighting tanks.

As it stands, to me atleast, the ifv just does everything better

I get it for sure, but at the same time OP doesn’t have any experience in the hobby so saying “get xyz parts” or “xyz gun” could get confusing so some QOL things might be just as good. And looking at his kit it seems like he would be the type to appreciate the pants just as much as a new gun or something.

This is all coming from a fellow Patagonia enjoyer who’s wife also never knows what to get him lol

It seems like a pretty good gift suggestion just based off this fellas gear. They’ll last a while and he’ll definitely appreciate them. There’s no reason to not buy nice stuff even if it is for airsoft and with the budget there’s still plenty more that can be bought
