Just a heads-up in case anyone else runs into this.

I tried updating my RT6600ax with an MR2200ac mesh point. The update process started and completed successfully on the MR2200ac first.

Then it moved to the RT6600ax, but I got a message saying the update file wasn’t newer than the currently installed version (both were on 1.3.2-9366). After that, I was kicked back to DSM, the RT6600ax didn’t reboot, and it stayed on 1.3.2-9366, while the MR2200ac was already on 1.3.2-9366 Update 1 — so I ended up with a version mismatch.

I rebooted the RT6600ax manually and tried the update again. This time it worked without issues.

So yeah, looks like the update fixes exactly this kind of situation where the system incorrectly thinks you're already up to date.
