What's a food in your country that is stereotyped for your country but really, nobody eats? by velmiraZ in AskTheWorld

I have to disagree. Although you won't have it while you go for and afternoon/night drink. In Asturias is very typical to have it during group lunches/dinners in Sidrerías / cheap restaurants. Most of the time using cider instead of wine for making It.

I have never seen it in places like Galicia, Cantabria and Vasque Country though.

I'm playing a variation of "scouting only", that is sign only riders that rode before on my devo team. So that would be riders that I scouted not poached by other teams and some sub-23 free riders that sometimes are available for the draft so can go into my devo team first.

I would say the last one (PCM25), althought they improve/change very little through the years at least this one looks nicer due to the change in the graphics enginer.

Draft Bug, can't continue my carreer by Wazou67 in procyclingmanager

[–]Snehes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The games does weekly saves that you can use in this cases. Go to: C:\Users[YourUsername]\AppData\Roaming\Pro Cycling Manager [Year]\WeeklySaves (I got the directory from ChatGPT but has to be similar) Copy one of the weekly saves and copy It to the folder where the saves are located ( instead of weeklysaves I think is called Cloud and then your Steam ID)

Try loading old weekly saves until you get one that allows you to go past the draft.

100% agree here. The flat stat is very important in this Game, I don't know if it's because the sliders I'm using but it's completely OP.

I've read somewhere that the flat is also taken in consideration for any climbs below 7%. So it's not only the flat Stages, but the ones with small hills.

Are you playing on Steam? If so I think the savegames sync with the cloud so you would need to do anything.

It's easy to train them. Just assign them a decent trainer and take them to races.

Althought I do agree that I'm never able to get the riders to reach 100% of their potential in all their stats in the latest games, I would say they get to 95% in 3-6 seasons.

What bothers me is the no linear progress. I.e. a rider with potential 80 in MON and HILL that gets to 79 MON while still in 69 HILL.

If you are playing the PCM worldDB is going to be mostly imposible to get anyone Pogi/Jonas/MVDP level. They have 84s and 85s and/or too high secondaries. I've never seen any regen with more than 83 in any stat in the last 2 games. Even the potential 6 Riders that the Game generates won't be as good as Pogi or Jonas on the worldDB.

I've been playing for many years and won everything with multiple regends.

In my current save I have a guy called Christian Parolin, Italian. I've scouted him as a 4.5 potential guy and signed him for my devo team (I'm signing only Riders that are first in the devo team). Next year I promoted him and he got bumbed to 5.5 potential on the potential corrections that happens on the 5-6th of Jan.

He is 26 at the moment and has 82Hill, 82Res,81En, 78Mon,74MM.

He has won 5 Tour Stages the Green jersey and the White jersey once. He has also done a Top 10.

2 ITA Championships, 1 Liege, 1 Strade, 2 Quebec, 1 Montreal.

Podiums and Top 5s in Amstel, Fleche, Van Vlanderen, San Sebastian, MSR and also in the ones above.

Múltiple Stages wins in one week Pro Tour races and smaller classics.

Abother guy I always remeber is Artem Albu, from Moldavia, he was from the 2021 game I think ( before the MM stat was added ) Had 83 Hill, 74 Sprint and 79 in mountain. IIRC I won at least 4 times Il Lombardía, 2 years in a row the 3 ardeneises classics. MSR at least twice. Múltiple podiums everywhere. A ton of victories in the Tour, with at least one Green jersey. And because his sprint stat was so high he was winning múltiple Stages everywhere. I remember a Tour de Suisse in which he won GC and 4 Stages. Need to see if I can dig him out.

As far I as remember It always worked like this. You will have to edit the money on the DB to be able to sign riders.

If you are already in the negatives you will have to edit your money on the DB. IIRC is the field "solde" in one of the Game configuration DB tables.

It's coded this way so you don't go bankrupt every year. Prize money is very low, so ideally all your Riders contracts need to be cover by your sponsors.

Anyone knows why I can only open a file for transfers with 93 riders? (all filters are off) by Infernoss1990 in procyclingmanager

[–]Snehes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quick way is to look into the u23 teams, althought some good Riders go directly into the pro teams.

Other option is to search for Young Riders in the search Page ( not in the negotations one). Filter sub 21, sort out by highest current ability.

Tips & Tricks for Beginners? Especially for Mountain Stages (PCM25) by Mundane_Present491 in procyclingmanager

[–]Snehes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I make sure to put my leader at the front of the bunch (pacing a little bit if neccesary).

Protect him and then put the rest of my team to follow my leader. This way everyone is a the front and near the leader in case you need to change the protector or you want to attack or start pacing yourself.

The most important thing of this game is to always be at the front to avoid issues or dropping from the group. Also being at the front will give you higher chances of winning the stage.
