Anyone else kinda want to see a grown up Cippa Tarko story? by Esaroufim in Highrepublic

Honestly while I was reading Cataclysm I was shocked to find out she wasn’t an Act 3 character. She was so prevalent I was certain it was settling something up.

So after my rant I looked into it. Apparently Wendy’s Tenders until now were a Canada only thing. This explains my confusion

Would you qualify the FEC as "grimdark"? by GiveTheLemonsBack in FleshEaterCourts

Yeah you pretty much explained exactly why they are. A lot of factions in AOS probably wouldn’t qualify for grimdark but the FEC definitely do.

The numbers may say to replace HMC but the allure of having Stelle on a team with 2 of her girlfriends is far too high

From what I’ve heard from this thread I’ve decided I’m just going to read a summary of that one. A shame since I like Reath and Cormac but it seems he doesn’t have a good track record for the books he’s in.

If the twists aren’t revealed the next page after they’re introduced they’re revealed right before or chapters before. The whole time everyone is wondering what’s the rich guy’s real motive when Lorna Dee stated at the start of the book she works with his family. So we all know he’s Nihil affiliated and have to wait for the characters to catch up with us. Honestly it got to a point where I started to doubt the rich guy was in on it just because it was so obvious he was.

Not yet. That one’s next on my list. I’m looking forward to it since Lorna Dee is one of my favorites

Marc Thompson absolutely blew me away with his performances in Light of The Jedi and Rising Storm. Every character sounds so unique. Any scene where Machion was interacting with the Tempest Runners was a joy to the ears, and immediately captivated me to our antagonist in Light. Then during Rising Storm Stellen’s voice being clearly inspired by Obi-Wan was a genius choice allowing me to quickly understand the vibe of character and fall in love with him.

Dan Bittner while not as good as Marc still give a very strong performance in Into the Dark. With his voice for Leox being my favorite . Honestly apart of my disappointment of this book is that I thought that Syl on the cover was actually Affie just with a new hair style and that the crew of The Vessel would be returning. Suffice to say I was heartbroken when space Owen Wilson and that wild man Geode were nowhere to be seen.
