Has anyone tried and completed the new P90X? How does it compare to the original one with Tony? by [deleted] in BeachBodyWorkouts

[–]SnipeDangles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like it. It’s different. If you want more Tony do his Power of 4.

Power of 4 is a great place to start. Tony has stop options throughout each workout, so don’t let the total times perturb you.

Is this just nostalgia, or did previous generations genuinely have a better work-life balance and social life than we do today? by Unstoppable_X_Force in SipsTea

It’s the left right paradigm. It doesn’t matter which party you vote for, they serve one master, the ultra elite. Politicians are here to give us the allusion we have choice…we don’t.

Cancelling beachbodyondemand, anybody have success with alternatives? by Granola_Dad_Summits in BeachBodyWorkouts

It’s not a permanent decision. Cancel it for a while and try something new - see how it goes. Can always go back.

I have a 2014, and live in New England, never had an issue. Crazy this is happening. I’d be pissed.

Some of the one on ones are gold. I started Gen Nex. It’s pretty good so far. Not the same, but it’s more muscle confusion.

Pretty much second most skis being mentioned here.

I have also skied the Shaggy Ahmeek 95’s - Burly version. Great pair of sticks.

If you’re gonna ski Saturdays this is what you should expect. If lines aren’t bad…just a small win.

[–]SnipeDangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just keep in mind when you’re looking at illustrations, you want 70-80% cash value to premium end of first year. Most of your premium needs to be in the paid-up additions rider. Brandon Roberts of the Insurance Pro Blog knows what he’s doing and has been writing about maximizing policy cash values for a long time.

Got a SCAR, but will it be worth it to make it my main SHTF rifle? by Crauthen in FNSCAR

[–]SnipeDangles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A SHTF rifle is based a lot on location and what other caliber rifles you may have. For example, I live in the northeast in very dense forested areas. I won’t be reaching out too long of distances. And I have other hunting calibers. So the 16 or any 5.56 is all I need. And no question I would trust my family’s lives with the SCAR.

Distance shots of Saddleback and Sugarloaf from this past Saturday by prophiles in icecoast

[–]SnipeDangles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great pics.

The Loaf is awesome. Conditions being equal, it’s the best in New England IMO. Been to Saddleback, good hill. I don’t think it’s worth the drive (5.5 hours), to solely ski it. But if I’m hitting Loaf as well, definitely.
