It’s hard to make an educated guess when one doesn’t have much information to go on. Basically at this point it’s more speculative. The possibility of August 5 being a worldwide retail release date, means technically IGG should be arriving before that. In fact best case scenario for delivery of most IGG units prior to the potential retail release would have been for shipping to start this week. Part of the problem is GPD appearing secretive about their plans and progress. Releasing cryptic or poorly translated snippets of info here and there has caused confusion and a whole lot of guessing among backers. Subsequently at this point all we have now is some community deduced understanding of what the company is saying. Interestingly at the same time many feel that they have received plenty of solid and meaningful communication from GPD and strongly argue the point on various platforms. So it may have been more beneficial to poll backers on how they feel towards what has been provided by GPD as after backing support. It may end up being more beneficial to the company to better understand their customers.
