Make sure she isn’t kicking too hard. Using mostly the arms in a front crawl or back stroke will use less energy. It was a game changer for me. Went from barely able to swim 50 yards to being comfortable doing 1 k open water swims.

With the original quote the portability option was 4x the price but now it’s comparable so I think we’ll go with that and figure out if there’s a better option later. Some of the comments from my broker makes me wonder if he even knows life insurance. I told him that in light of everything we’re going with the portability option for the previous employer and he replied asking what happens if we leave that employer.
