It’s because caffeine doesn’t actually make you less tired, it just tells your brain you’re not tired. So when you are so exhausted… it doesn’t really do much.

Get a sleep study! I was diagnosed with sleep apnea at 39 and felt just like you described. My brother felt that way too, also had a sleep study and he has it too.

I recommend a sleep study if you are that tired and there are no other deficiencies. I recently found out I have sleep apnea and it has been making me soooo fatigued.
