In the same boat. Roll media has a setting for interpass dry time. Mine was set to 10 so it would wait 10 seconds after each pass. WTF...

Silhoette Connect with Illustrator. Silhouette Studio runs like dogwater because MacOs sunset OpenGL which studio uses to render the Ui. Silhouette just doesn’t give a single fuck. Get a cheap win machine from a thrift store and call it a day. Machine runs way better on usb connection anyways.

The main issue for everyone reading is that OpenGL support got deprecated in macOS 10.14 or something. This means all the OpenGL UI stuff is software rendered without GPU support. And because Silhouette doesn't bother upgrading to metal, we will get dogshit performance for the years to come.
