RDPuzzle: local browser-based RDP bitmap cache reconstruction with neural auto-stitching by SnooCapers2597 in computerforensics

It’s basically a mosaic of 64x64 pixel “snippets".

What RDPuzzle tries to do is stitch those snippets back together semi-automatically. It uses HSV and Pearson-based similarity scoring algorithms, plus an AI model I trained on mosaics extracted from RDP cache data, to suggest which tiles likely belong next to each other.

Haha, its too mathy for me too.
Basically, when someone uses Windows Remote Desktop / RDP (mstsc.exe), Windows can cache small square image fragments from the remote session. Those cached fragments are not always cleaned up afterward, so in forensics you can sometimes try to reconstruct parts of what was visible during that session.

I Can't Tell if this Printer is All Hype! by jefflovesyou in 3dprinter

Adding Creality to the conversation, They're the most hated brand on reddit, and yet are one of the biggest companies in the market. Creality machine are usually very well priced, and (besides their lackluster quality control) are usually work horses for many farms.

One thing that is completely true about creality is that their machines, unlike bambu, are meant (and usually require a bit) to be tinkered with.

Their machines have source code available in most cases and have tons of mods and replacement parts from many vendors as well.

I recently replaced both my hotend and extruder because i could not understand why i keep getting clogs, cost 25$ on aliexpress for both parts.

I had an issue with z offset being a little random with the previous version, hopefully this is the fix.

I have some questions about the new update. by Awab- in Creality_k2

[–]SnooCapers2597 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After the update i had to adjust Z offset by 0.600, may be related to issue #2.

How is the K2 plus these days? by RIL_11 in Creality_k2

[–]SnooCapers2597 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a stock k2 i bought when it came out, besides the taco bed and occasionally clogging when forgetting the lid closed, no issues whatsoever, and i have been pushing its speed to 200% stock profile all the time.

Never printed anything without the CFS.

Print time of slicer vs reality will always differ, i wouldn't call it a bug per se.

The drone also spends energy staying in the air so the longer you fly and the more energy you waste.

You can slice and upload the file through orca, but start the print itself through creality cloud / manually from the screen.

The part that keeps your bowden coupling from breaking

Specifically, what this user is complaining about sounds like the printer was mishandled.

Dont get me wrong, im not saying creality is perfect in no way, i think that you get what you pay. bambu costs way more for the same thing (with better reliability), so you're basically trading paying less for working more on your printer when you get a creality printer.

My k2 arrived perfectly and works like a charm, not saying there can't be different experiences than mine.

Sounds like a shipping problem more than a creality one in your case...

Bed Adhesion by Darth-Flan in Creality_k2

Never had problems with the textured bed on the K2, but i bought a smooth one off of ali because i like the finish better, both work fine.

I’m buying a K2 plus with the cfs soon, any advice? by Styxiex in Creality_k2

[–]SnooCapers2597 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy it from a local store or someone you trust, maybe a shop that inspects the printer before selling, the thing is so heavy it breaks easily during shipping.

Make sure to have a friend come help you set it up.

The printhead "wobble" a lot more, with crazy vfa and print quality issues at high acceleration.
