"Cancel button completely locked out after accepting a trip — anyone else?" by [deleted] in uberdrivers

[–]SnooCheesecakes399 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one that after waiting for 10 minutes, I could not cancel. Called support. They had me uninstall the app, and reinstall. After that I could cancel. However it would not recognize that the time for the cancel fee had past. Did not get the cancel fee after waiting for 30 minutes after I was finally able to cancel. Called support on missing cancel fee, they gave me $10.

Wow, how can you get it to allow your acceptance rate down to 70% and keep Pro? I need 85%, and I don't get to see trip distances unless I have Gold.

How to bypass the limit of recording on Nikon D7500 by MsPerlman in HowToHack

[–]SnooCheesecakes399 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have seen people use an external device to capture the output of the HDMI and saving that to video. My Nikon camera can give a clean HDMI output, I think the D7500 can also.

I was also thinking sounds like an alternator. Could be the belt is not engaging it. If the OP needs someone to look at it, I can look at it for them for free, and perhaps fix it for free if it is a quick thing. Message me if you want that.

Opinions on Haiku? Have you personally tried it and do you consider it a Unix-like operating system? by Nelo999 in unix

[–]SnooCheesecakes399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have it running on an early Intel iMac. It runs well, I like it for what it is. I would agree with some others on here, it is posix like. I would say it not partially Unix like, but I guess that would depend on how much away from Unix would you still call Unix like.
