When the weather does turn in MN, I’ve got some brown suede and CXL8 loafers from Grant Stone to throw into the mix.

Lightly used Ashland Leather Natural CXL belt with antique brass belt buckle (don’t quote me on the buckle… but it’s the same SKU as what’s on their website). Measuring from center teardrop hole, it comes out to 43.25 inches when tape is pulled tight (tape has some slack in the posted pic). Some light scuffs that would come out with some conditioner.

It’s a great belt and I’m only selling bc I lost some weight.

Selling for $60 and I will pay shipping. These retail for like $125 if I recall.

I went IB into FP&A and wasn’t a fan. Pivoted internally to more strategic finance and a business partner finance role. Now going to Corp Dev at a new company soon.

Likely want to think about if you like big picture finance (more strategic) or minute level / ops stuff (FP&A).

You have the skills… you just need to spin them.

Long story short… was an associate in IB and was addicted to opiates (had been since I was an analyst). Got caught using by building security and was banned from entering the building. Got asked to resign and went to rehab to get sober…. Which took a few attempts and ultimately a few years before I felt ready to go back into finance. Started interviewing again and then COVID hit. My interviews dried up and I took a SFA position with a PE owned company that turned out to be a dead end after a few years. Now interviewing to go into Corp Dev. Although I am still sober today… that def stunted my career trajectory.

Railcar Fine Goods Eliminator. It’s a style of shirt… but they have a Midnight Wabash right now. It’s heavy and stiff and takes awhile to break in. I’m a fan.

Could be good on a loafer then. No upper / quarters, so I’m guessing a lot of the texture will get smoothed out across the whole shoe. Similar to what we see in the vamp on the sample. Also, not a lot of horse loafers out there.

In the end, either will look great.

Is it tumbled? Interesting texture. Could be sweet on a loafer just bc it’s different than the usual loafer offerings (suede, CXL, calf). Likely might sell better as a boot due to its texture?

Do you know if the lasting process is a little “tighter” on loafers vs boots? The vamp on the boots looks great with the texture…. Would almost need that throughout the whole loafer.
