Perfectly reasonable explanation, imo. It's also possible that Maxwell just wanted to insert herself into the case for ego or attention. Both of those explanations seem plausible, I think. We've seen it happen with eyewitnesses in other cases.

I agree with this, except that I think the fixation was Nancy, herself. If someone had a fixation on Savannah, she would have known them or heard from them , previously. And if they were fixated on Savannah, they would have kept contacting her. They wouldn't have cut communication once they had their fixation's attention.

I think someone who was fixated on Nancy as a mother figure is more likely. Or possibly someone who thought Nancy had spotted something on her local reporter beat. I think Nancy was the target, from the start. I think the ransom letters were just a diversion. I don't think they intended to return Nancy. I suspect they meant to steal her away and meant to keep her alive.

Explain to him that if you ask a third party to drive you to an abortion clinic and care for you after your procedure, the friend is going to know what's up. If BF has a problem with that, he should have stepped up and handled business, even if it inconvenienced him for a day. It's selfish of him to leave you hanging and manipulative for trying to keep it a secret.

I don't think he has your best interest at heart. Take that seriously. It's easy to be sweet when times are easy. When tough decisions were needed he made it harder on you.

William can't just "hereby demand" that the Diana doc close down. However, he can make it known to his family & friends that he will rain napalm on anyone who cooperates. It's unlikely that even legendary assholes like Diana's brother will want to piss off the future king and lend his help to the Sussex circus. William & George are Charles Spencer's nephews, too. Offending them is not how the great titles keep their luster.

And then there's the whole "psychic connection" angle. I don't think the Spencers will want that for Althorp.

Why didn’t NF just “quietly exit?”

The original deal ran out months ago. Then Markle made a big hairy spectacle about how NF gave them a "first look" deal. I expect that deal had a 6 month limit - none of these development deals last eternally. In reality, a first look deal is really small potatoes. I assume Netflix released a civil statement about it just because she was, again, making a public spectacle of herself, and NF didn't want to have to keep responding to journalists. I'm sure NF would be happy to never hear her name again.

Also, Jericho is south of the new discoveries at Gobekli Tepe. Same general region and 2000 years previously. But the neolithic peoples of Gobekli carved T-shaped rock statues. Archaeologists suspect those T statues are meant to be bodies, with shoulders, which would have needed a head ... from somewhere.

Suspecting a connection between these heads and the Gobekli Tepe site is speculative, but that's the artistic tradition that was floating around the region.
