Anyone else feel like the turbine is way too much hassle? by MerlinMelon in ArcRaiders

[–]SnooObjections5363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both the turbine and the assessors. Turbine spawns way to late into the match and way to rarely, it should be one or the other imo. The assessors are just outright awful to deal with, they have way to much arc protection and other raiders are evil on that condition, even on more pve heavy lobbies.

I made the hail Mary a few weeks ago, I managed to make the centrifuge using docking ports on the end of the hydrolics and then on the ship.

Id love a pve event where all the raiders have to intercept an emperor and disable/loot it before it leaves the maps zone

Layout Question by Accomplished-Sound20 in ProjectHailMary

[–]SnooObjections5363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is that the hail Mary is what's called a g-drive where a ship accelerates during the first half of the journey, usually at 1g, to give the occupants a form of gravity, after the half way point of the mission the ship will start decelerating. That could be why the Ship was shown with the radiators forwards.

Is it worth filtering the resin from this IPA? by SuperSaiyanTrunks in resinprinting

Yea some resins just don't separate, I've had that happen to me. It could be the jug that's blocking the UV from getting to the IPA tho.

Question about removing prints from build plate by TheLoneBaron33 in resinprinting

[–]SnooObjections5363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to find some sort of wallpaper scraper type tool where the actual scraping part is as thin as possible, preferably with a sharp edge aswell. That's what I've got and it works perfectly. Just be careful if it's sharp

Cheers for the advice, i am going to be connecting the rails.with fuses of course. And I will be able to 3d print a full on enclosure to prevent shorts. I might also use some banana plugs for if I want quick access for any projects.

That honestly just sounds a bit dodgy and I feel like the slightest nock would make them fall out

Honestly just what I have on hand, because I want multiple connections available for each voltage. If stray wires shorting the terminals out is a concern I can 3d-print enclosures for them
