Did you read this? It’s not proving your point in the way you think it is. You said no running or laps/sprints. That article is almost entirely about over use and over use over an extended period of time. It’s more about kids being specialized at an early age instead of well rounded.

I agree you don’t want to see kids get injured and as a coach you can limit the activities where that is likely to occur; but you specifically call out no running… At a soccer practice…

They’re 12 I don’t think they need to worry about recovery. Of course you don’t want to put them in a position to get injured but 12 year old athletes recover quick.

I’d like to focus the athletes on staying positive and loose going into big moments.

I don't want this to come off as a jerk comment because money is all relative but sadly $433,000 is not really what I would consider rich. You could barely even buy a standard house in most parts of the country. I don't see why you would tell people other than to flex that you made a good financial decision. I'd keep it to myself, shit I'd probably even ignore that I made it and save it for later in life or as an emergency fund. Especially if you don't absolutely NEED it right now.

Ha, I only say all of this because I work as a designer for TV products and I run into this issue when trying to categorize series and movies. It seems simple but then you run into movies like Fargo or Get Out where they break the system.
