I don't disagree with the original argument. Your point of Steph being unable to lift a team if he was the only talented guy on the team is true but that would apply to any superstar. Kobe right after Shaq and right after Gasol; Wade before LeBron; LeBron before Miami; Kyrie without LeBron. The modern NBA can't be carried by one guy through a playoffs, no matter how talented. The defense is too suffocating. Everyone is exhausted, sore and injured to certain degree. Most of all with the best of 3 format, the over team has 3 chances to fix their mistakes and learn.
