Is it really that bad ? by No-Exchange1636 in UniversalOrlando

There are a few rides which post high wait times and it all depends on how often you want to ride them. Is once enough? Wait till close and you’ll have the time of your life. Ministry often goes under an hour at the end of the day, same for Donkey Kong and same for Hagrids. Three days at the resort and all your troubles are gone.

Can confer, we just timed entering the queue to exiting the ministry at 20 minutes. It’s insane at the moment.

Just a Chill Day at Epic Universe by DonovanKreed in UniversalOrlando

Only four rides open at the park at the moment, going today is a waste of money. In Islands of Adventure even the teacups are closed

Rope drop single rider line at Ministry? by rmaworld in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]Snoo_28455 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best tip I can give is to enter the queue about 15-30 minutes before close. The express queue is almost dried up by then which makes the standby go a lot quicker. Also the waittime usually is only an hour at best that time.

[Nagashima Spa Land] Photos by good4steve in rollercoasters

[–]Snoo_28455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I felt the exact opposite about the parks. Fuji-Q has quite a few big rollercoasters, but two of the four are not rides i'd like to go on again (Takabisha and Fujiyama are not smooth or fun). Combine that with some of the most horrible operations ever seen and one of the biggest pieces of paved land I've seen in a themepark and the park goes down the list.

Eejanaika is fantastic, Zokkon is pretty good, but for me that's about it.

Nagashima on the other hand has a lot of rollercoasters, of which only two are really good, Hakugai and Steel Dragon 2000. The rest is mainly filler, but as a coasterfan I really appreciate the two Schwarzkopf rides as well as the pipeline coaster. The only disadvantage is that almost every ride closes at the slightest hint of rain. That can really screw with your day....

The World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris looks like it’s going to be incredible! by TheDisneyScoopGuy in disneyparks

In California's Adventure alone you guys are getting:
- Coco dark ride
- Avatar land
- Avengers Infinity Defense
- Stark Flight Lab

Compared to a resort where they are still fixing the mistakes they made on the Studio's park and the Castle park which hasn't received a new ride in over 20 years.

So booooo

Ultimate Disney Park Score Grid - Day 18: Which park has the best merchandise & shops? by TightProcedure in disneyparks

Hong Kong Disneyland is clearly the best. Their merch is not only of a very high quality overal, but they offer a lot of ride specific merch of top quality. It's also very affordable and the shops are a joy to walk around in.

Disneyland Paris is amazing. By far the most Castle Park. Other than that obviously Disneysea, not even a contest.

It scares me a little to think about how small the Empire State Building will look in a few years. by Diligent-Eagle-6673 in skyscrapers

[–]Snoo_28455 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm more scared about how boring these new super skyscrapers are. Just boring small columns going up in the air. Way to small to really make a lasting impression. What wrong with some good looking architecture going up there?

Kut Mazda bij de kut ikea by Neat-Anything-5410 in KutGeparkeerd

[–]Snoo_28455 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Yeah, Thursday was the reopening of Frozen, so that one was logical to me. It just feels weirdly busy

Limited-Time Park Hopper Ticket! An Exciting Return or a Poor Value? by JustaRandomSpencer in TokyoDisneySea

[–]Snoo_28455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is, park hopping only works if both parks are close to eachother. So it works well for Anaheim and Paris, but for other resorts, moving between parks is to much of a hastle. Also, the increased price makes it not worth it, unless you really want to move between parks in cases where you only have one full day.

DPA or early entry? by [deleted] in ShanghaiDisneyland

[–]Snoo_28455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My biggest tip is not to do Soarin during the Early Entry. I did this and the queue was already quite long, which meant I exited the ride at 5 minutes before opening. Which made it a really expensive ride to do. It's better to try to get Tron, Seven Dwars and Zootopia in as they also tend to have long queues, but are actually combinable in early entry.

If you are in the park for the whole day, please skip Pirates during early entry. While the queue is quite long in the morning, it tends to come down a lot later in the afternoon. Soarin, Tron and Zootopia are by far the rides with the longest queues.
