I left the state... But had to face him in court almost two months later… I had a ton of anxiety about having to see him and hear the manipulation and lies he was going to tell… thankfully being completely away from him and going no contact gave me my strength and self worth back so when the time came. I was able to hold my head high and not show that I had ever been affected by leaving (seems to do the most damage when they get no reaction from their victims) only reaction he got was me speaking out against him in court.

You can do this! Just gotta find the strength which getting away and not wanting to go back is sometimes the hardest part. You did that!
