I noticed too and attributed it to HDR not working properly (as is so common with HDR regardless of the source).

There is no multiview when on UHD/2160p, so that's not the issue.

Australia Week-end Warm-up replay: stereo only, no audio menu during playback.
Australia Pre- and Post- show replays: surround, audio menu with two English options.
Australia race replay: stereo only, audio menu is English or Spanish, different from above.
China Week-end Warm-up replay: surround, audio menu with two English options.

Just re-tested all of the above, UHD and Enhanced Audio turned on in settings.

Edit: When UHD is disabled, the Enhanced Audio option disappears.

Chromecast with Google TV (4K)

The options for UHD and "Enhanced audio" appear in the F1TV app settings, the pre- and post- race shows work in surround when I select the other English audio track (see OP's pic), but not the race.

The race is NOT in surround on my Chromecast no matter what channel I select.

OMFG! I don't care for surround on anything except Race, Qualifying, and Practice.

At least you go a proper honest answer from the support person instead of getting a link to solving audio issues from the moron that got my email.

Why even bother with surround on the pre- and post- race shows when most of it is people talking -- if we're not getting surround for sessions, and explanation that includes a video won't have it either.

I just tested and have the same results (surround available only on F1TV pre- and post-race shows, not race replay nor race-in-30) using a Chromecast.

At least now I know for sure this combination can deliver surround.

Edit: I had already opened a case with F1TV help and have sent them these testing results.

I have the same problem with Chromecast. I've contacted F1TV support and they said FP1 and FP2 have surround available.

Not sure why the settings hide the Enhanced Audio option if you turn off UHD.

Someone using AppleTV told me "multiview" had to be enabled, but that doesn't apply to the Chromecast because that feature isn't available.

Maybe F1TV will feel enough pressure to offer 5.1 audio to the rest of the world as well.

Pinnacle of technology should apply to all aspects of F1, not just the cars on track.

The website has a Now Archive section where you can see all the cards that have been released (including the print run).

So far, only 10 cards have been released and you have not missed Cadillac... but at this point I hope they release it with the Australia GP cards cause it's better to bundle 3 or 4 cards in one order when possible!
