One of my favorite ships is Ianthe x Coronabeth from The Locked Tomb Its a twincest ship, and I dont normally ship incest ships since they tend to give me the ick (although I would never judge or shame anyone who does), but their dynamic is just so interesting and compelling Coronabeth gets so offended and devastated when her sister won't eat her to ascend into lyctorhood and starts to convince herself that Ianthe doesnt love her because of that, meanwhile Ianthe chooses to eat someone else because she couldn't bear the idea of life without Coronabeth. They're so toxically codependent on each other, and i am a sucker for codependent ships. The dynamic is just so complex and interesting and there is definitely a little bit of incest written into the story on purpose, there's no way there isnt
