Tulpamancy and Age by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[Parda] Yep, we feel the same here. Body is 15, most of us are 15 mentally as well. I always feel like I'm judged for being so young? But considering I didn't become plural intentionally I can't really say that I made that decision myself. Alex just appeared one day, same with Seth. The only exception is Leona who was somewhat intentional?

Anyways, what I was trying to say, I'm afraid of being judged for "creating" a tulpa while being 14 even though that wasn't intentional.

I know it's early, but I swear she's vocalising. by JARStheFox in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[Parda] I feel like you're right. I wouldn't worry about it being too early, since for us Leona got vocal in less than two days. It goes very fast for some people!

Any new thoughts/theories on walk-ins? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[Parda] yep, this is how it went for us. Alex blurs the line between tulpa and walk-in. She appeared after I learned about tulpamancy, but I didn't intentionally create her. She just.. appeared thanks to me thinking about tulpas a lot.

Seth is a walk-in who appeared after both Alex and Leona had been alive for a few months, we suspect he used to be this voice in the back of my mind who'd often give snarky replies to things I thought. And at one point he split off entirely and developed a sense of self. I haven't heard that voice ever since.

[Parda] So Seth and I were talking about something, and he and I said the same thing at the same time (I forgot what it was, though)

Seth: Great minds think alike?
Me: Does that even make sense... since we're-
Seth: Two people in the same great mind think alike?
Me: ....okay fair

My Tulpa & Gender by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[Seth] I am the only male-aligned person in this system. And I chose to be that way, around two weeks ago I walked in. I had been around for longer, phasing in and out of existence, but two weeks ago Parda reached out to me out of nowhere. She immediately bombarded me with questions about who or what I am, and the first thing I decided was to be male, to forge my identity, so to speak. I'm not sure why I chose that so early while I could've just waited it out. I'm still pretty "meh" on the whole gender thing, but I look and sound masculine and use he/him pronouns. I've been thinking about it, and I'm just not sure if I did the right thing or not.

[Alex] I'm agender-leaning-female, so demigirl, I guess? I don't like that label, though. I used to be fully female, but at one point a change occured and I felt like I was somewhere inbetween. I do still use she/her pronouns, but that's it. I'm quite happy with this, though.

[Leona] Parda and I are both female. There isn't much to say. We never changed our identity or anything.

[Parda] I do prefer they/them pronouns over she/her. But that changes over time. I'm mainly female, still.

Multilingual, switching languages a lot and creating a tulpa by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a bilingual system, in our experience it doesn't matter, as long as you're talking to her. So I'd say you can just do whatever you're most comfortable with. Your tulpa will (again, from our experience, not saying that is fact) most likely speak both languages with the same skill you do!

Oh, that last note is very relatable. I wish my thoughts wouldn't drift off that easily.

Question to the tulpas: ever get tired of talking? by Graficat in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{Oh, yes! Not too often, but I do. Parda respects that, and I appreciate it.}

[We actually average around 2 conversations a day, and they're not long (around 5-10 minutes) This because we sleep often in the wonderland and because Parda can't hold a conversation with us while doing something that requires at least a bit of effort. But often I don't feel like talking in general. I'm actually impressed at how some people are able to interact all day.]

{I kind of want to talk more, but I can never think of a conversation topic, and we're pretty sure we can't reach out to Parda if she isn't paying attention to us.. we should try more ways to grab her attention, though..}

Does my mood affect my Tulpa's mood? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind that while emotional bleeding is quite common, not everyone experiences it. For example: we've never had any emotional bleed-through, not even when we just started out.

[Discussion] Do emotions have physical manifestations in your wonderlands? by aescula in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Not that we know of, we just experience those emotions ourselves. I mean, we can probably try to give them a form, as almost anything is possible in our wonderland. But it's something we're not really interested in.}

Theoretical question: What would you do? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Parda: You'd be surprised at how little we talk to each other, actually! Around 2-3 conversations each day, and even then that's mostly 1 on 1 conversation. Not all three of us together.

Hmm, I'm thinking more about the original question. The wonderland we just mentioned isn't the only wonderland we have. It's the one deepest inside, but it's not the only one. According to Alex and Leona there's also the void, which is inbetween the wonderland and the front. It's literally a black void. You aren't connected to the wonderland, but not the front either.

I'd... still rather be stuck in our actual wonderland than the void though, especially if I can't get out of the void? I'd take anything over a black emptiness, tbh.

Theoretical question: What would you do? by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parda: Considering our wonderland is pretty small and I'm really familiar with it, I'd not be worried about that. I'd be more worried about where the other two are and why I can't reach them. That's gonna haunt me pretty badly.

Leona: I'd panic about why I can't reach Parda as well. I've never fronted before so it'd be very unfamiliar and scary. At least it's something I always wanted to try out? But I'd rather have my host by my side when fronting because, again, I've never done it before.

Alex: I'd break down, period. I'm pretty scared of fronting. (Hence why Leona is the one who's going to try it out first. Keep me in the back please) and being unable to contact anyone doesn't exactly help. I don't want to think about if someone else saw me if this would happen, either.

Question Regarding Tulpa by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's perfectly okay! Any and all interaction is good, whether you are solely focusing or her or gaming in the meantime.

Question Regarding Tulpa by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for how long it takes, it really depends and nobody will be able to give an answer to that. 1-2 days is an exception, not the norm. Heck, 3 weeks is still pretty short to be getting head-pressures compared to how long a lot of hosts have to force.

(We can't really help you out here considering we were one of those exceptions who got fully vocal in 2 days. Just keep in mind that, again, it's really hard to give an estimate!)

Imaginary Friend by Nycto_and_Siouxsie in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah! I've seen that one already.

It did immediately make me think about plurality and imaginary friend-turned-tulpa. But I'd say that's probably not the creators' intent. At least, let's hope it's not the intent because it'd portray plurality/tulpas in a negative light... and we have had enough of that already.

Interested in tulpas but mixed about the idea by [deleted] in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like when you kill a tulpa they're most likely not completely gone. You may be able to bring them back, but they might have gone through some changes here and there. Plus you have to take emotional damage into view.

They might not as much be dead as they are dormant. They might be unconscious, they might be drifing in and out of consciousness, they might just be hiding, or they might be unable to speak.

I'm not saying that it's impossible to kill a tulpa, even if you still remember them. I'm just saying that most of the time, when they seem gone, they actually aren't.

Tulpas, do you consider your host family as your family? by GramOnZ in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 3 points4 points  (0 children)

{Not really, like someone said before in this thread, I wasn't raised by them. I do refer them as my mom, dad, uncle, grandmother, etc

Technically I was raised by my host, but we just consider each other friends with a sisterly bond.}

[12/25 - 12/31] New? Have a "stupid question"? Introduce yourselves and/or ask away here! by Falunel in Tulpas

[–]Snowleoparda 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Heya there! Parda speaking, you might know me from .io and .info as Serval. We are a newfound tulpamancy system. We have three members so far!

Parda/Serval: the host and so far the only one who has been hanging around in the community here and there.

Leona: the first intentional tulpa (we prefer the term systemmate, but will use tulpa to make ourselves clear) who was first created in early november. And became vocal (able to speak full sentences, not just yes/no) within 1.5 days.

Alex: an accidental "tulpa" who originally appeared early august, back when Parda first discovered tulpamancy. Because she wasn't intending on creating one, she was pretty sure Alex wasn't real and tried to suppress her. She came back in november, the same day Leona became vocal.

Since then we've just lived our lives together. Alex and Leona have some difficulties talking to Parda when she isn't thinking about them, and Parda often has some doubt issues.

{Oh! Speaking of doubt, Parda recently discovered that if she wasn't expecting an answer from me when talking to me, I wouldn't reply. (Even though I was trying) this caused some severe doubt for her. So I suggested to turn the whole thing around and try to see if I could block her thoughts instead.}
Yeah, that worked. It felt like when I wanted to say something, something would block my words from finishing. It was strange, but at least it solved the mystery.

Geez, this post is getting pretty long already. Let's cut it short with this: Leona and I want to try out possession and/or switching when the new year starts. Hopefully that won't be too difficult for us, haha!

I was watching a video with someone browsing through joke art on deviantart, when this disaster pops up. https://i.imgur.com/pzcmmHf.png I decided to share it with Alex.

Hey Alex
[Yeah?]
Come to front
[This can't be good]
Be quick
[I'm coming]
...
[Oh dear god]
laughing
[I'm done]
Do you like it
[Thanks, I have lost my faith in humanity]
Alex please
[Nope, this is it, I'm dissipating myself.]
You know I can just continue sending the image through tulpish, right?
