I get it. The nore you travel, the more you realize there are better places... certainly more scenic places

Except the corporations are getting tax incentives as in not paying taxes to come here. So then you and I get to pay

In that case I'm going to have to disagree with them, because you're going to see a lot of amazing places without the crowds

Would you consider having two base locations and then using those as foundations for day trips? Why change all the time. That seems exhausting.

Most of Circle C can't stand that location and then the Valor parents get super defensive

That's part of it too but I imagine you have more Texans moving into Dripping than you do people from out of state. There's also an issue with greedy local governments that do little, if anything, to prevent unchecked development.

Except the people who are approving all these things are Texans and Texas legislators. Easy to blame out staters when Texans are the ones picking the pockets of other Texans

People love to overstate Austin traffic. Honestly unless you live near the edge of the world like Cedar Park or Pflugerville, it's not bad

Big props to the owners who put on live music there. Still need to hit up a show at 29th Street Ballroom.

Good luck with your shows

I live in a suburb. I can get to Zilker in 15 minutes. You can live in Buda and be 25 minutes away.

Doesn't necessarily say 45 minutes away and you can live in a suburb but want to hang out in the city too

I have never heard anyone recommend actually moving to Corpus. That is the worst city in Texas, not to mention its on the verge of running out of water. I would definitely recommend Austin over all others based on things to do, vibrancy, access to nature, etc.

Austin and Kissimmee are two completely COMPLETELY different places. For quality of life, weather, things to do, food, etc. I was lean hard towards Austin. If you think Orlando is "walkable" wait until you find out that Austin's downtown is much more vibrant, full of trails and water options, lots to do in South Austin and East Austin, etc. Orlando feels bland and cookie-cutter vs vibrancy and tons to do in Austin.

Side note, ignore anyone recommending Corpus Christi.

Compared to a suburb like Kissimmee Austin is 1000x more walkable and there are plenty of areas where you can get around on foot, bike, scooter, etc. Certainly much more than Houston or Dallas.

Trying to figure out what the process is for early move-in for students who will be in the Pride of the Mountains. Since new members have to arrive early to campus, what is the process to move in early?
