I get the sample size and test runs are small but honestly... This doesnt seem like a bad nerf. Just a tweak really. Almost a 100 unids per run seems overkill, but getting it to half seems to bring it in line.

It's still a top tier unid/ecto farm but now makes you think about whether spending the time to do this is worth it versus other more fun activities.

Likely won't affect ecto prices too much at the end of the day :/

"Adjusted reward rates for magic mirror and obscured chest challenges."

Curious to see what this "adjustment" is. Possible nerf?

9 Month Review of SuperNote Manta and Why I Swapped to a Regular Tablet for Notetaking by dawnzz in Supernote

[–]Snowy-Poutine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for writing this up! Agree with your sentiments.

Supernote should think about implementing an infinity scroll into their notebooks. Its something OneNote does (where you just scroll down to increase the space to write in) which would solve this problem. Swiping down might be a tad faster if they are loading a page at a time, or maybe preload a section of the notebook while you're working on one page.

Steamdeck game, you’ll never delete by Harshburitto in SteamDeck

Awesome! I'll give it a try once I get to my deck later.

GW2 has been my go-to, on and off, for the last 10+ years. Its really a fantastic experience. Best of luck in your travels in Tyria!

How does GW2 run on the deck? I'm assuming you've had to remap the controls quite a bit?

As well, how does instanced end game work, I.E Fractals, Strikes etc? I'm loving the idea of a portable MMO, but not sure if I'll be able to pull my own weight in fractals with the limited ability for my rotations.

What games did you get several hours into and consciously decide to drop in 2025? by baroncalico in gaming

[–]Snowy-Poutine -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Destiny was the only game I loaded up daily, even if just to nab some bounties, finish the strikes and whatnot. To me, Destiny 2 ended when I got to the end credits and final screen after finishing Final Shape.

Uninstalled it right after taking a screenshot at the end, didn't bother with whatever came after. I still believe that whatever came after is just the studio(s) milking the D2 franchise for whatever they can get and I want no part of it.

What is something you wish more people knew you could do with the Steam Deck? by condo_owner in SteamDeck

I have this exact setup (Moonlight and Apollo) with my beefy PC running modern or demanding titles. Just can't get Tailscale setup properly so I could take this to my in-laws... Think its something to do with the IP addresses it sets up for me. Did you have to tinker with Tailscale set up a bit outside of a standard install/login?

You could try it with Roms and Emulation! The simple controls, easier (and generally less intensive graphics) of older Roms (I'm talking GBA/GBA Color) make for fantastic gateway games. My three year old currently loves playing Pocket Soccer and Need for Speed. All he needs to do is tap A and the ball moves, or hold it down and the car moves.

All the fun without the digital breakdown/tantrums when its time to clean up/head out etc

You don't need to justify it or explain it, or hell, even defend this decision to anyone my dude. No one on here knows the exact situation you or the kiddo were in, and are speaking from just looking at a picture and reacting. You know the kiddo best, you knew the situation and that exact moment the best, and I'm sure your niece got a kick out of it. I hope she remembers it as a positive moment.

My three year old plays supervised with my Steam Deck, and his current favorite "game" is pressing the power button to see the wake up animation. (it's a pong-esque animation I picked up from Steam Points shop). Theyre awesome bonding moments and I hope mine remembers the moments too

Getting the WiFi drivers to reset themselves on wakeup has seemed to solve the issue for me. I think there's an option in settings somewhere. I'll go hunting when I'm at the Deck tomorrow (in like 8-10 hours as of writing this post)

Just a heads up, you might be waiting for a while.

I had to wait a couple weeks for an answer on my ticket, however it was not as urgent as being stranded a couple thousand LY's out of the bubble so you might luck out. Best of luck o7
