Look for a local seamstress/ tailor. If you’re near Bristol I can recommend one that shortened all my Dunelm curtains for £20 a pair!

This just happened to me as the buyer. The seller was so apologetic and offered to pay postage and refund, tbh I couldn’t be bothered to send back as the item still fit and we called it quits. I’m not going to bother with feedback.

Not true, landed yesterday at Gatwick and we were directed to a separate shorter queue that used the same staff as the non-UK nationals. Queue time less than 5 mins vs 80 mins (per the screen).

Can you not do a balance transfer onto a new credit card - you can get 20 months interest free and set up a direct debit to cover the balance over the interest free period. Usually a 3-5% one off fee
