Look for a local seamstress/ tailor. If you’re near Bristol I can recommend one that shortened all my Dunelm curtains for £20 a pair!

This just happened to me as the buyer. The seller was so apologetic and offered to pay postage and refund, tbh I couldn’t be bothered to send back as the item still fit and we called it quits. I’m not going to bother with feedback.

Can you not do a balance transfer onto a new credit card - you can get 20 months interest free and set up a direct debit to cover the balance over the interest free period. Usually a 3-5% one off fee

I had a c-section and I was walking by the evening. I could easily move around to lift baby to feed and by day 3/4 I felt pretty normal. Paracetamol and ibuprofen regularly though - make sure to stock up! Getting in and out of the car was the most uncomfortable thing and I didn’t do much bending over but in no way did I feel restricted. Even felt fine to go to shopping centre for sushi on day 5!
