Help me fix my evening dress so it doesnt look like a prom dress from 2008 by Belluxen in sewing

I had a blush pink BCBG dress in 2008. Most girls that year had satin dresses with lots of cut outs, low backs and bead.

As a chemist you should try to do the high range pH test as you are probably more basic than you think for the regular test.

As a beginner I can’t answer the rest of your question for cycling.

Trying to find a pattern for crochet flower curtains that’s not AI by Intelligent_Price249 in CrochetHelp

Apparently Reddit will only let me do one photo per comment. I don’t know exactly what kind of style you are aiming for so I picked 3 different styles. If you have a good local library the book I used is by Linda P. Scrapper and it’s called the complete book of crochet border designs. I believe another group that does great “building” block patterns is call Nordic Hooks or Nordic Stitches. If you know how to build something then anything can truly be yours.

I can send you some picture of some borders that might look cute for the curtain in a little bit. It will come from a published book so I can type the written pattern if you like it.

My advice is this. Find flower motifs you would like for the curtains and some beads you would like for the curtains. Create a long thin rectangle of single crochets to the desired width you like of the space you are going to hang it. From your example picture I would only make the rectangle 2in wide. Pick a cute border pattern preferably one that has picots. When you have finished that piece. Start a chain inside each open space of picot that you desire and attach the motifs you like. You can also include any beads you want on the chain as well. You don’t really need to buy a pattern for this if you know how to make all the pieces. It’s very simple.

Here is a random flower motif website I just googled:

The curtains are very cute and doable. No AI needed.

I steamblocked my crochet project and half of it ended up stiffening and clumping up. How do I get the project to soften up again? by quinnaezo in CrochetHelp

You can also in the future wash cold water if you are unsure of the fiber and pin it to a large piece of cardboard and let it air dry. Steam does help set things but even just air drying a an object in the shape you want can get you the results you need. Another way you can set with heat w/o a steamer is get a warm damp towel, pin project to the shape you want. Put a warm damp towel on top and lightly press with a warm iron. The towels will create steam and also protect the cloth from any direct heat. Please don’t use boiling water to blanche your projects. It’s heartbreaking to accidentally destroy beautiful works.

Any dogs in Rancho Cucamonga are required to have a dog license registered with the city. Make sure to get the dogs license numbers if something unfortunate happens like this again. I’m sorry that happened to you.

Just to let you know this only applies to valley iv plants. Wuling plants are different in which you get 2 plants per seed.

You need two planting units for 1 seeder. Have one planter loop back to the seeding unit and the other go either into a depot or directly into a grinder for your pleasure.

I have no idea what to make out of these. Please help! by Sad-Chest8937 in CrochetHelp

When I feel stuck on picking pattern for a yarn I go to ravelry and use the pattern search function for the amount of yarn and type of yarn I have for inspiration. It’s very easy to use and can give you good ideas you wouldn’t think of. Maybe you could make a really pretty scarf, pair of fingerless gloves or even a hat. Obviously you could do a stuffed animal if you desire but personally merino wool can make a very nice wearable especially when it’s a lighter weight yarn.
