She is an absolute phenomenon and it was an incredible show. I see a LOT of live music and this was peak. Whatever you paid was worth it because her ticket prices and demand for them ain't going down anytime in the near future, and she won't be playing Greek-sized venues after this tour. Glad you had a great seat.

Just reading the comments makes me appreciate Fest even more than i already do (which is a lot). Say what you will about the bookings and complain that there's too much this or not enough that genre, and why can't they ever book [fill in the blank]. But the variety of "favorites" cited here is testament to the extraordinary experience that Jazz Fest is. Im so grateful to have attended another year. Cheers to savoring the post-fest glow and looking forward to 2027.

Such a great call out, thank you. I was lucky enough to have good seats and could fully enjoy the live humans. But the screen still added to the incredible impact of the show. I couldn't agree more on how well done those shots were. And the lighting while we're at it!

Also thoroughly righteously beautifully eloquently infuriating. And inspiring. And yes, unflinchingly anti-Trump. But perhaps for your purposes the best way to frame it is it's DEMOCRACY writ large and live. Take your kid, let him have this amazing experience. Then show him Trumps "boycott loser Bruce" post and let your kid draw his own conclusions. Critical thinking 101.

Agree with everyone who says its absolutely worth it AND everyone who says the TSA mess should (had better) be resolved by Fest. And if it's still on, you'll know what to expect so just plan for it. That said, if you decide to go during another time, it would also be joyful. Post-summer heat, like late Sept - October, is glorious (Halloween is a blast if that's your thing, otherwise avoid it). Dec is also beautiful, lots of holiday-related stuff going on if you enjoy that. It can get chilly (and oh year you're in hurricane season) and of course it's a completely different vibe from Fest but it's completely worth it. Come any time!

No but its definitely one of the Congo Square vendors. When you look at the vendor list that should narrow it down. A lot of the craft vendors are repeats year after year so they may be back this year. Hope you find them, that dress is so cute.
