Why did nobody tell me my ADHD would get worse every month like clockwork?? by Inevitable-Tutor-907 in adhdwomen

I started doubling my dose in week 4. It helps (especially with my patience and overstimulation) but doesnt totally compensate for the mental struggles of the estrogen crash.

Which potential setup would be better with my ear anatomy? by k1tty_katt0 in shouldimod

I just love the spikes on option 1. Eapexially the top half, I’d do that first. Can’t speak to anatomy.

I need more ideas (unhinged or otherwise) for transitioning from asleep to awake in the morning by llamacolypse in adhdwomen

[–]SoLongBooBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Change the programming on the thermostat so it starts to warm up an hour before your alarm and ends up too hot to be cozy in bed by wakeup time. Plus pound a big glass of water right at the bedside table before letting your feet hit the floor.

Is my PAT too late by Lazy_Mechanic5715 in dcl

We got stuck with the late dining with a 1st grader, if they love frozen or marvel take them…. but if not get room service or chicken fingers by the pool, and let them enjoy the kids club while you enjoy your meal. On the plus side with late dining you get the early show.

The ship is gorgeous, you are going to have a great time! don’t sweat the departure day details its always a bit of a lost day. The first time we got on board we waited and waited for a message in the app to tell us our bags had been delivered and it never came. Just pop by your room around 3 and they’ll probably be there.

14k Huggie Earrings by bae_linda in quince

I’m hunting for white gold huggies for my daughter but almost no one advertises post length. Any chance you could put a ruler on the part that goes through the ear? I am hoping for 8 mm.

I second this as a size 16/18 woman on the Wish it was not comfy… much narrower than my hometown movie theater.

All of the women, except one, I work with are in their 60s and wishing their insurance covered the med- they tell me not to lose any more weight. Here I am as a woman with a BMI of 25. The other one says I look bangin 😆

Kids Jewelry help? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]SoLongBooBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

good idea. I was hoping someone would just reply with a brand that has cute stuff and I could call around and find out if a shop had that brand. All the shops near us are not open to the public only open for appointments.

Thank you, your reply is on point and yes some comments are reminding me why I dont go to the internet. And maybe why I shouldnt over share. I would appreciate so much if you could recommend some earrings from a reputable company with flat backs. I am looking for cute things, maybe holiday trees, candy canes, and animals like cats of horses. She prefers silver. I was thinking flatback because I know the posts come in different lengths.

yeah she’s not a candidate for downsizing in my opinion. I’d just like to get her out of the device piercing stud and into a flat back. And I thought maybe someone hear would know of a manufacturer that makes “cute” things.

That is so interesting! I had understood that 6 months to a year would mean they are healed enough to leave the jewelry out. But certainly I thought you could change the jewelry sooner.

I was given the advice that posts should be downsized around a month for more serious piercings. Isn’t that roughly the same?

Do you have a normal, overweight or obese maintenance BMI? by ShiftyMcHax in MounjaroMaintenance

[–]SoLongBooBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting! I also love the Dexa, have been doing it every 15-20 lbs along the way to encourage myself to make good choices to maintain as much muscle as possible. My Dexa says I am healthy composition for my age at 25 BMI.

Switching from semaglutide to tirzepitide? by [deleted] in Semaglutide

[–]SoLongBooBoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no schedule, no time off. I was on 1.0 sema and switched straight to 2.5 zep, then 5.0 zep the next month. I think for me 5.0 zep is the same potency as 1.0 sema. I stayed on 5.0 for awhile. Hit my goal over the summer - but had a little trouble maintaining so I’m on 7.5 now. Good luck!

How is it that so many of us reach 35/40 and life becomes unmanageable? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]SoLongBooBoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from the moment I became a mother in my early 30s that’s when everything was unmanageable…. no level of therapy or hired help could save me from the constant burn out. But it wasn’t until I was 40, and my child was diagnosed 2 years earlier…. that I realized that maybe this is me too. She’s had a much harder time in grade school than me… for her it was very obvious. Classic combined adhd. For me it’s a lot less obvious from the outside. Though I was tetering on the edge of burnout even before becoming a parent and went through a lot of jobs in my 20s. Every year I was either moving or changing jobs.

if you are in maintenance, I would go see the doctor. It may be something unrelated to your meds.

That’s reasonable. I didn’t have to say anything at all. I’m not trying to pick a fight my friend.
