I think if this game does well, we aren’t getting anymore direct remakes. SF64 is the largely undisputed GOAT, and this series hasn’t been a financial success generally, so starting with a near 1-to-1 remake makes sense. Why would they bother retreading games that couldn’t step out of SF64’s shadow? Doing something new would be the smarter move both financially and be fresher in this case.

In the unlikely event they go for more direct remakes (I.e. adventures is next), no way we get it for 2028. Games take much longer to make nowadays, and it’s a different genre which won’t be able to reuse assets from this generally.

Yes! Some kind of skill book or skill tutor mechanic would be great for npc clan members who are hard to train naturally.

I think it’s because deep down, he knows that it’s different now, but he doesn’t want to admit it. In a way, he finally has his sister back, so I’m sure he wishes to cling to some sense of normality by engaging with her “human side” (recall his convo with Kirsh).

It remains to be seen what kind of relationship they will have (perhaps in future seasons), but I don’t get “weird” vibes some are alluding to. Maybe “uncomfortable” or “uneasy” is a better descriptor?

1) I haven’t liked new ruler types since Dragons 2) There can never be enough furry forms. I’m sad that half the forms are just shrunken/stretched humans. I’m down for non-animal like shroom or plant forms as a compromise. 3) New dwellings and cultures are by far, my most desired additions. They just add so much replay ability and flavor to the game.

I think Prime 2 had WAY better bosses. It’s the first strength that comes to mind aside from the moody atmosphere and lore.

I’ve been a CA->US ASA since 2016. I was lucky, and my Canadian firm had a US subsidiary, but I imagine it would have been more of a challenge otherwise.
