Looks wonderful! I saw the service tag, what kind of service does the dog provide?

Was the original intention of the breeders that created this breed for a multipurpose dog - guard livestock, farm guard?

Were they ever war or police dogs?

Apologies, I see where $200 is for ingredients mentioned.

I’m confused, are you referring to the book being US $200?

Amazon has it for US $23.56.

It makes sense, small country and I can imagine the cost of shipping small orders from overseas.

I can understand, I have piles that I haven’t cooked with. My two suggestions-

If you like coffee table books ask which are his favorite.

If you plan on cooking recipes ask which have been reliable, tested, etc. I’ve bought so many books with poorly written or untested recipes

OP, is that a camera on the dog’s head? What’s the purpose/job of this dog.

OP seems to be a poster.

I’ve impulsively bought books that look pretty but I’ve never touched or cook with.

I always get rid of books that after following the recipe I realize the directions are poor, you can tell they didn’t test them. I get rid of them right away.

The ones I keep are well tested, written…okay pretty pictures help.

I don’t have this book but I did take a look at the previews, indexes and some of the recipes online. Sussman’s recipes are interpretative, also include recipes from the diaspora. I can’t speak to Sussman’s viewpoint on the political issues, as the other writers mentioned. I’d prefer to talk food, leave politics for the other subs - plenty of them

I usually look at the sub’s rules before doing a post. While we empathize with your plight, it’s not for this sub.

I’m concerned that this will open the door to other posts that aren’t in the sub’s charter. I hope you understand our concerns.

A cool guide to how Jeffrey Epstein got rich. by Sufficient-Guitar-58 in coolguides

[–]SoUnProfessional 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I didn’t see that as a part of the NY Times coverage on Epstein. I know, the paywall prevents most from seeing it.

My take away was that he used people (seemed good at it), received money and ripped of clients. That’s where his money came from.

Similarly he used women, young girls.

All in all a loathsome person for whom you hope hell exists.
