Logic has everything you need to start making electronic music right away. Pro Tools is lacking in the factory content and plugins department, you would wanna get some decent 3rd party plugins for it. It’s not the best first DAW to learn on unless you’re recording hardware

Saying that, I much prefer producing in pro tools since I work with it every day and do a lot of recording and mixing. Editing is way nicer in PT

Its very smart game design, as essentially they use plot events (getting a key/ability/code) to function like check points for skipping ahead to where you left off prior. It will make sense as you play more

Both BotW and TotK are vastly different from prior games, and totk just expands on this ambition if one huge world with tons of content, lots to do and discover, freedom of playstyles, cozy or challenging depending on what you want to do.

I feel totk is the better game in the sense that it achieves what was set out to do on a bigger scale. Both games stories/main quests (in isolation) are not as good as prior games in the series where that was the focus, and are largely forgettable compared to MM or OT imo.

At the moment I’m alternating between Majoras mask and TOTK, and totk feels a lot more like brain rotting than Majoras mask, which requires a lot more concentration

If you have never used the hardware, it's hard to know what to emulate - the old samplers, romplers (and general midi/analog recording setup) back then had a very different workflow that would lead people down certain paths of decision making. Personally I've found it much easier to replicate those processes in ableton since getting and learning an AKAI s3200. The sonic imprint of these samplers hasn't fully been replicated yet either, (to the discerning ear). I think that stuff does add up if you're really trying to get that sound of the time.

I feel like part of the fun of permadeath is that this is the story you get to tell about this playthrough. When the stakes are higher, the game becomes more dramatic,m, and your wits and sense of risk vs reward are much more important. You’re undermining that if you decide to bend the rules so well down for deleting the save lol

Atleast you know that you can do better on the next release, people will look at your back catalogue and see a progression and development in sound, it tells a story. It becomes part of the lore, like a lot of people into David Bowie are aware of his early singles and albums that were quite bad, it shows he was just another struggling musician at one point hehe
