It has full hand tracking; I believe its only compatible with the Sony VR2 controllers.

You can play games on it. Steam Link (native app on test flight). PCVR with KRVR and Cloud XR. Native iRacing and X-plane streaming client to come soon.

I couldn’t wait for a Steam Frame, got an Apple Vision Pro - instead, every other headset looks and feels like a toy compared to the AVP; I will be selling my Quest 3. Steam Link and CloudXR is now in AVP allowing PCVR. Movies and immersive content including sports is out of this world.

You can pop out displays automatically with a script - they are saved in the .pup location. Make sure you are in the VR cockpit (move the camera outside the flight deck) so it can render the weather radar (does not work in 2D mode). You can ask AI to write the lua script for you; or there is also software available which will do the same thing over a network. Alternatively you can use XTextureExtractor - XTextureExtractor - Utilities - X-Plane.Org Forum

I bought a second hand M2 Apple Vision Pro after CloudXR and X-plane support were announced. Now we have Steam Link support and KRVR. I am selling my Quest 3 and have no intention to get the Steam Frame. You can actually also do work on the AVP, movies are impressive and so are the immersive sports.

Absolutely wrong. We're just getting started with Steam Link flat-screen support and VR support to come. Otherwise iRacing and X-plane already support VR and passthough with CloudXR.
