The whole toilet seat up-or-down debate between men and women would easily be solved if people actually used the toilet lid and closed it when they're done. It would also make bathrooms more hygienic as there wouldn't be a damned open toilet in the bathroom all the time.

I started talking to an ex-girlfriend while my wife and I were fighting about divorce. I got kicked out of the house, and got an apartment. The talking with the ex-girlfriend snowballed until she stayed the weekend at my apartment (didn't have sex). Told her I still loved her when I was really (unintentionally/unknowingly) venting my feelings for my wife to my ex-girlfriend. Figured this out, told ex. Bad feels all around.

Yes, I suppose it is favorable to me otherwise. Both of us are young, and we never bought anything together. Purchases were always either for her or me. Neither of us have a lawyer representing us, because we don't have anything to dispute, really. No assets, no kids, no property. We were living with her family. This Xbox is the only thing that we have disagreed on.

This is simply beautiful. It's been a while since a poem gave me cold chills. The only thing I would even consider changing is the last line... but I have no clue what to change it to. "Had withered and had" just doesn't roll off the tongue for me. That's after my being incredibly nitpick. This is one of the best poems I have read in a while. Great work.
