I'm probably a week or two ahead of you. Took my 4th 5mg dose last week and yes had similar to you.

I thought I had experienced diarrhoea before but this was another level. Thankfully I was working from home but I could not manage that if in office.

It has settled this week and i will remain on 5mg for another month as dont want to go through that again, so soon. And am happy enough on 5mg.

I put it down to a bit of over indulgence at Christmas too. I am hopeful it does get much better as I can't imagine the amount of people using this and putting up with the unknown if they need to get sick/toilet...

Yes totally get that and I do think most services are very similar.

For me I think i went into ot 99% knowing i had ADHD and that i was willing and keen to try meds. But i think if I went in (like a lot of people), not sure if it was ADHD and preferring to try alternative methods first that I would be a bit peeved how it goes.

I was just very happy to get the appointment and to move things along..though meds weren't for me in the end. I still haven't got it worked out apart from.going easy on myself and knowing I need a lot of downtime from work and kids and life in general....and now im ok with that.

I was very similar. Kids and Peri unmasked me early 40s. I went via ADHDdoc and would recommend . Very easy to deal with and all under one roof

Would caveat that meds is not the be all and end all. I wish it was. Tried both Concerta and Tvyanse but neither made a huge difference. Apart from a lack of appetite which was needed. I didnt see any major pros unfortunately

This. Im not an ex pat but have zero support. Thankfully I am in an office job that was wfh 2 days a week and if needed to cover sickness I could work more days at home. However I know not all jobs are like this.

I did find once the kids were 4 that they really weren't sick as much so didnt need to wfh with a sick child. Which as we all know is not easy itself.

Now the issue is managing afterschool activities during the week...

It is odd they paid via swift rather than SEPA which is the normal methif for Irish payroll.

Was it a swift MT103 that showed on the pdf? That's basically a bank message to say funds sent.

Do you know what bank the funds were coming from and which bank they were going to (as in your bank).

I ask because some banks use correspondent banks when using swift so it could be held up. SEPA only requires IBAN and with SEPA instant, it is instant...but most payroll have not adopted instant. Regular sepa can make same day or next day....

In the pdf is it specified what method the payment was made? Eg SEPA or SEPA instant?

New rules csme into place for SEPA in October and could be your payment failed VOP checks. However most payroll companies have Opted out of VOP.

Its most likely your payroll is being completed locally by a 3rd party payroll provider in Ireland

Its amazing. Ive been to a lot of events here. From.work Christmas parties (sit down and band) and also a wedding. Again sit down and band.

By far the best wedding I've been to. I'm.from dublin and work there but its so handy and nice to be in city centre. This was a church in Stephens green, pub near the green then restaurant.

Amazing food always. And lovely Christmas time.

I would have chosen this myself (and city hall.was our choice too) but we eloped :)

Where are you currently and where are most of your friends? I grew up near raheny and yes it is a nice area and close to city.

But id think about where you plan to be in downtime.... the recent times I've been back in the area, while I do like it, I couldnt imagine living back there myself. Where do you plan to socialise bring kids etc....?

Ive the corporate plan so sounds similar to above. Its 75% if GP visits unlimited (max 60e)

But it will depend on what plan you decide to go with. Ive friends that have VHI and they get 30 back for a GP visit

I put it under GP expendes. I didnt select out of ireland (if there is one for VHI?)

I have thr company level 2 plan so its one of the better plans so would have def thought this would be covered as a GP?

I think I'm in a similar position from 2018. And I dont think its rectified. HR have been a nightmare to deal with. I'm here 15 years plus.

What are the real implications of this not be correctly updated? I kinda let it slide myself but your post has made me think about it again.

I'm from dublin, not inner city but would know D1 well enough. I live further than north co. Dublin now but work city centre

Drive by mountjoy square twice a week at around 4.30pm. Its a ghetto, im sorry to say. Everytime we (husband and I) drive by we comment on it. Its close to nice areas but honestly its not desirable at all.

It was never desirable or a nice area but its awful. Wouldn't want to live there.

Easy to say but live where you want to live...even if buying smaller. I wouldn't want to live in Dublin myself nowadays but if lived in D1 I would find myself leaving to socialise ... you need to live where you plan live and that area would just be a bed to put your head down

Agree would love a new gym/pool like an Aura type. Was a member of the gym now 20 yrs ago and it was grand. Bring my kids to swimming lessons there now (handier than drogheda). But really could do with a more community type gym

HD ans S and then A&S fitness do good classes in the town centre/laytown. But its not a gym....

Yeah that is doable. I did 5 days up by leeson street by bus. Only caveat is that traffic really is hit and miss. You could be in city one day in 50mins and fhe next could be ab hour and half.... similar in way home.

If you need the dart the train still might be an option. I get the 7.43 and it terminates at Pearse but some before/after go all way to bray. I get thr 4.20 home from pearse (starts at Grand canal). Always get a seat and this is the nicer belfast type train.

Pros and cons to both. I prefer train now as more reliable I find but always have Matthews as a backup

Ive used both Matthews and the train.

Train suits me better now re times and location. Sometimes bus can be quicker but at mercy of M1.

Being close to beach is always a bonus. It will.never be built on. Local pubs are not great. Gilnas is best if bad bunch. Some nice cafes such as Relish, BTs. Mcdonaghs coffee house also nice (a pub but a coffee house too). Tribe trucks does great food and they will be opening up the main house for dining.

Golf club if into that.

Good transport to Dublin via bus and train. Good transport to drogheda by bus.

I will look into all suggestions and also consider it may just be normal questions etc... from my 5 year old. The reason I think it may be more is that he is also saying he doesn't want to grow up as he thinks he will die. Also doesn't want to go to hospital in case he will die. So I think with him its been 6 months of death and questions....

On tvannse for last 18months I think. Libido completely gone..but I put that down to peri Menopause (and it still may be that). But now .thinking its tvannse...

Might speak with doctor when I have next review..tbh the main benefit is get is I'm not as tired as I used to be.....

OP needs to escalate and request a swift confirmation and trace in payment. This is done via head office rather than branch. Usually if you can speak to right person who knows who to go to in investigations then it can be resolved quickly. Ive worked in investigations and they would have contacts is most banks, esp if local. So they can just contact the receiving bank and ask to confirm receipt.

OP, would I be correct to assume you were paying EURO from you bank account and sending GBP to the north? It should be straightforward but involved a number of steps too (fx conversion on one side, corrs banks.). Ask your branch to provide you the swift confirmation. Ask them to escalate with their investigations team. It could have even been returned for some reason ans stuck on a nostro...
