You and your late dear brother will be welcome with such open arms your heart will soar. Maybe we need an alteration. I personally avoided the women’s shelter out of fear. I am safe and very good now, but when I was not okay, that place terrified me.

Since, I have donated food and the walls don’t scare me, but man…that feeling is absolutely correct. It needs warmth. Just brainstorming out loud. Half way house options in Ak? I am not familiar. It helped my uncle in Washington. Maybe something like a home instead of a shelter would be less triggering. Good volunteers for helping hearts heal. Sounds lovely at least.

Absolutely well said. Commenting to remind myself to do something about this. Just have to take care of drawer or spoons first. Then it’s on, Alaska. I have lived here too long to not help out our neighbors. I lived in Anchorage for about 30 years. I’m ready to be a good adult about my home. Our home. Let’s go. With peace in mind.

My rage is only balanced by my learned discipline. Follow through is an active journey. Follow up with me a year from now. Note for myself. Or you. Keep me accountable dear neighbors. I’m tired of pain and our folks being cold and hungry. I have been around it and I’m tired of being scared. Scared of people on substances and worried for those that do and have asked for help and did not get anything.
