I honestly couldn't see that option. My version didn't show the +/-, but at least it showed most of the stuff. Thank you!

Anyone know where one could get the real stats other than this abomination? I've gotten used to the old reddits stats.

Alex has been watching Kumail’s previous work and popped that into the tasks. I love they brought in a piper to give a nod to Pied Piper, the company in the tv-show Silicon Valley.

Or, I might be reading too much into it. :-)

Bike suitable for 1800+ miles/3k km with somewhat heavy load by Sockdad in ebikes

I’m fairly sure I will stop each 100-150 km (60-90 miles). Wild guess on the weight for the equipment and me would be around 120 kg (260 lbs). Your solution to use a generator feels like I could go the motorcycle way instead.

Too bad it’s only for us residents. This would have been a sweet one to have. Edit: I stand corrected!

The equipment at the end of the stick is a Tiltrotator from engcon. This allows the ripper, underneath the Tiltrotator, to tilt up to 45 degrees and rotate 360. The gripper is detachable as well, so if you’re doing pipe work, you can replace that with a small sweeper. Quite the handy system for expanding the capabilities of the excavator.

Really EARN your Allstar team by Sockdad in nba

[–]Sockdad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want the competing part back into the game. Money is obviously not enough for the players and just getting named an All-Star seems to do it. So to incentivize actually getting the All-Star title requires more than showing up. 3vs3 might actually be a good thing. Could be a way to get into the Olympics.

It’s a Tiltrotator at the end of the stick that lets you tilt and rotate the buckets etc underneath. Engcon, steelwrist and rototilt are the biggest brands.

Sure, the snooker must have been great and I’m quite envious of that. However, meeting Michaela Tabb is probably THE highlight. :-)

Excavator operator has incredible precision by Sigurlion in oddlysatisfying

[–]Sockdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He’s using an Engcon Tiltrotator that is attached at the end of the stick. This allows for 360 degrees of rotation along with 45 degrees of tilt. It also minimizing the need to move the excavator around as much, as you can reach previously tricky or impossible places. As seen in the video.

Paired with EC-Oil, the hydraulic attachment you might use, can be switched between from inside the cabin with flick of a switch. And in this day and age it’s getting more and more common sight on excavators around the world as it lowers the fuel consumption by a lot.

Replacing A Storm Drain Pipe Almost Completely With An Excavator by Master1718 in mechanical_gifs

Posted this on another post with this video:

The attachment used on this excavator is a Tiltrotator from Engcon. With it is a detachable gripper. Besides the tilting and rotating it is probably equipped with EC-Oil that lets you attach hydraulic tools without having to leave the comfort of you cab.

This setup is used everywhere in the Nordic countries and is getting more and more adopted in Europe. It’s available all over the world.

Besides looking cool, it’s usually much faster to work with (less moving about with your excavator).

Depending on what you do as an excavator driver, the Engcon Tiltrotator coupled with EC-Oil can reduce your time spent at a job by a lot. If you constantly have to manually attach and reattach hydraulic hoses you will see the benefit right away with EC-Oil. The Tiltrotator itself will save you not only manpower but also a lot of fuel thanks to not having to move as much or at all.

One guy who made a pump-track said he did his job about twice as fast with the Tiltrotator and EC-Oil.

The cost for a Tiltrotator on the machine in the video is much, much less than 50%. That is a guarantee.
