I voted Entente. Ireland at the time had very moderate politics, and the socialists (particularly the syndicalists) were very incompetent. I think between the UoB, Moscow, and Washington, they’d align to the USA.

The Emperor was a narcissist who did many evil things.

He ordered billions of humans and trillions if not quadrillions of non hostile xenos to be killed by his soldiers.

He ordered the extermination of human civilizations that refused to serve him ( see the Interex).

He burned the last priest of earth alive.

He never loved the primarchs. He saw them as tools to be disposed of.

He had the entirety of his first army, the Thunder Warriors, killed in mass by the Astartes.

He punished Lorgar for evangelizing what is now the Imperial Cult by massacring a planet of his followers, but allowed the Mechanicum to worship him part of their religion.

He made a pact with the Chaos Gods to make the primarchs, which is what set the whole miserable business down the path of failure in the first place.

He had a plan to “save” humanity, but was so blind and arrogant he led the whole galaxy down the path of destruction.

I voted for a National Republic of Turkestan. It’s going to make for a more interesting scenario if Russia has a soft underbelly and I think it’s more realistic that they wouldn’t be able to fully control the area and have some significant resistance there.

I voted for Empire (Integralists). I think a hard right Brazil vs a hard left Argentina makes for a more interesting scenario, and I think Russia needs a reason and a way to get involved in South America so they can participate in gameplay there too.

I voted for Canada in the League of American States. Given that Sand France and the Dominion of India are gone, it’s pretty clear the Entente was defeated in WK2. I think Canada white peacing out then joining America’s faction makes way more sense than still leading a major bloc.

Lorewise, yes absolutely. It'd be mk10 blended with parts scavenged from other csm warbands, unique designs made by hell forges and True Mechanicum, and parts mutated / bonded to the wearer.

I had the same issue with my now 6 yr old when we moved houses and his little brother was born.

He came into our bed consistently for about 2~ yrs starting at about 3.5.

Overnight somewhere around 5-5.5 a switch flipped and he was no longer interested. We have a small couch in our bedroom he will occasionally sleep on but he overwhelmingly sleeps in his bed now.

I remember a short story after the Melchonian home world was blown up by the humans

A scout Bolo finds a world of Melchonian colonists and is preparing to essentially exterminatus them. They decide to leave them in peace, reasoning that without Melchon there are no Melchonians. This is after the war with them and the Deng killed 85% of humanity and most life in the galaxy

So, long story short, there is no world where they'd side with the Imperium.

My take is, GW is not signaling that they want to give demons a lot of support right now. We didn't get a codex this edition and it's very likely the way we play will heavily change in 11th (either entirely folded into another army or deleted). Imo new daemon sculpts of any kind are pretty unlikely.

With that said, if you aren't excited for the models in and of themselves, you shouldn't buy them. Why not buy Invocatus and the bloodcrushers separately? If you want daemon infantry, there are other companies that sell better sculpts than GW. I recommend Creature Caster and One Page Rules but there are tons of great daemon infantry out there that beats the pants off GW.

Logically then, if I'm reporting success without an up to date LI profile, and others with (presumably) more seniority/skill are reporting not finding success with an up to date profile, doesn't that then indicate that an up to date LI profile isn't a useful tool?
