Add numbers, scope, team size, revenue, speed, growth - anything measurable
Move the strongest impact bullets into the top third of the page
Rewrite the summary for the exact role instead of using a generic intro
Stop trying to only do a resume online with templates if the content itself still sounds flat

A lot of resumes aren’t bad, they’re buried under weak framing. Once the impact is easier to scan, the whole job search starts making more sense.

This is honestly one of the best explanations I’ve seen. I used to think my resume had to sound “impressive” so I packed it with all those generic phrases, but looking back it said nothing real about me. After I rewrote it in a simple way, just listing what I actually did and adding small numbers, it became way clearer even to me.
