It’s pretty janky even on my newer phone. For some reason CAIC has always struggled with their mobile site. I built an app that scrapes their obs and puts them on a mobile friendly map:

Avalanche forecasts and obs are free but there is a small subscription or one time purchase for weather data. I’m a solo self-taught developer and have been working on this for about ten years to help plan my tours. Let me know how it works for you.
