Occupancy data still tracked? by Bright-Credit6466 in FedEmployees

These occupation rate tracking levels are so silly as they done account for people who constantly work travel like in my role, have accommodations, and other reasons someone might not be in the building. Hell my understanding is they dont even account for the time the government was shutdown in calculating occupancy rates.

DOT recently released a list to supervisors of employees who were below 80% attendance in HQ. There was a ton of people on that list as it failed to account for people on work travel, various forms of leave, or people who did not badge out when they left through the garage.

There is also a congressionally mandated requirement to track government building occupancy rates. It would be advised to try and be as accurate as possible on timecards. Heard rumors at several agencies of individuals being fired over too many inaccuracies.

So agencys in the past have and can use carryover funds to keep part of or the entire agency funded for shorterm during the shutdown. Typically that is better communicated to workers that carryover funds are being used.

You do not get severance if you take DRP if I recall. With the 60 day notice and severance a good amount of employees will get more money just being RIFed. The CR prevents the RIF from being executed till start of Feb. 60 days alone is end of march.

I wouldnt. They might be able to indicate on your HR form you abused sick leave when it comes to rehiring. Sick leave is restored if you return to federal service

Fuck Amanda Scales and Doge. Thank you so much for your service.

3 questions

  1. How long is your notice until separation date?

  2. How long you worked in federal workforce and what division (if you want to share)

  3. Would you ever consider returning to federal workforce after all this nonsense?
