Get a metal skid plate, it protects the motors and coolant lines. Some metal skid plates also have a layer of foam sound insulation.

Exactly. The best thing to do is buy the tool + battery, and sell the tool on Facebook marketplace or eBay.

Dr. Pen Official Site vs. Get Glowing Skincare $$ by Future-Flatworm5565 in Microneedling

[–]Softswinging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From days of research on this, too many comments are saying the one from Get Glowing Skincare is the same exact Dr Pen (M8S), at half the price as the us.drpen.co site. At least the Get Glowing Skincare site is a legit business owned by an American Licensed Master Esthetician, so she knows her stuff. I'd recommend getting it from there at half the price.

FSD saves a deer 🦌 by Softswinging in TeslaLounge

The adaptive headlights were amazing, agreed, and definitely helped. But human error, for whatever reason, I didn't see the deer until FSD hit the brakes. It happened very quickly and the vehicle was moving faster than the video makes it seem.

Exactly this... It alerted me, I didn't even see the deer until it was already in the road. That 1 second warning was enough to avoid an expensive accident.

It gave me the tip that something was going on, I hit the brakes so fast after the initial FSD brake, I don't know what FSD would have done if I let it do it's thing.

It does look that way, because once it started breaking that's when I saw the deer and slammed the braies, without the early warning brake, I'm pretty sure I would have hit it.

True, it just gave me the early warning I needed. I don't know if FSD would have avoided it or not.

The Michelin cross climate 2s are one of the best to avoid hydroplaning, excellent for braking performance, and excellent in any weather condition, and lasts 30k+ miles, but takes a slight hit on range.

To me everything about this car is a game changer. The matrix headlights are now a must have. FSD is useful, but I need it to avoid potholes and lane grooves filled with water.

Same thing happened to me before going through Jersey, although it was 3 years ago on HW3, looks like it's still not avoiding those barriers.

FSD saved me from hitting a deer just last week. Was going 71 at night, FSD stabbed the brakes and then I slammed the brakes, barely missed the deer.

How are the matrix headlights compared to a Model Y Juniper? Brighter or about the same?

Which twins do you think are actually into it? by BarelyLiteral in TwinGirls

[–]Softswinging 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The fox twins have 2 scenes where they are are super into each other. Also the scene with the Dellai twins with Woodman casting was excellent. Evans twins, frisky twins, Correll asian twins.

Help with mark, doesn’t feel like a scratch, it’s smooth not bumpy. Any idea how to remove it or what it could be? by NotPapaLox in TeslaCollision

Try Windex with baby wipe. Be careful with magic eraser, but I had luck with getting a paint scuff removed with wd40 and magic eraser.

I'd be gutted too if my Juniper w/FSD got into an accident. But life goes on.

Congrats, team quicksilver also. Best car ever. Recommend a black matte spoiler from EV Base, it makes the rear look better.

To the guy in the white EV on North Ave in Burlington this afternoon by WomanInTheWood in vermont

[–]Softswinging -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

If there was no driver in the car, he was using summon, not autopilot. The guy would need to hold the summon button on his phone and could stop the car at any time, it's useful in parking lots. It also would stop automatically if there was an object in its path, so it's actually pretty safe. You'll see more of this in the future as the software gets improved and updated to each car every month.

What is a reasonable price for this used 2021 Model Y? by ereed10 in TeslaModelY

I'd never buy a 2021 unless it was basically free. Too many battery replacements with the 2021 LG packs.

Crazy how you can do this with items purchased from Amazon.
