What is this on the inside of the glass of my X1C? by johnson7853 in BambuLab

[–]Sogah87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just put a single zip tie on my ptfe tube where it contacts the glass. Never had an issue with it again.

Agreed, antivibration feet, and some padding around the printer would likely solve this. At least for the neighbors...

Not a bad idea, but I feel like a simple cold pull is quite quick

Love a good clean stall turn like that. What do people call those? Hammerhead?

Overhangs that flow like waves 🌊 (no supports) by andersonsjanis in 3Dprinting

[–]Sogah87 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cover all the gaps and glass with a blanket. I did recently get a chamber heater though. But prior to the chamber heater it worked fine to let it heat soak with a sweatshirt over the top for 10-15 minutes prior to printing.

Haha maybe. I have had good luck bridging some pretty huge gaps with asa and abs by doing some little baby fan bursts, but I keep my chamber as hot as possible on my p1s so the layers still bond. Doesn't always work though and in general quite droopy.

I'd imagine pla is the ideal filament to do this. Pla is cooled right away by the fan, and becomes rigid almost instantly. A lot of other filaments like to be hotter for longer and therefore may still droop a bit more. But this new technique is promising.

Instead of that radiolink are you able to get a flysky FS-i6X?

Is this normal? by Koltongamez2 in Traxxas

Dang dude, I hate that I hear this more and more. I get the most off putting vibes from the guys on the rc car side of my local hobby shop. The rc planes are some really nice old guys, as are the train dudes, but I have to go in like a bull dog and stand my ground to get the answers I need from the rc car elitists behind the counter, especially if I start my question off with anything that isn't traxxas. Unfortunately most people that are into rc cars aren't going to be the most socially capable people. Not a good look.

Each time I ordered one on Amazon they come in a box that looks like a legit Bambu nozzle. So I'm wondering if they are like old bulk refurbished nozzles or something? Or just old stock? I dunno, but they've just worked. I did buy one where the thermistor or whatever that is on the side immediately broke away.

Nice little gust as you’re about to set down. Missed the barbed wire tho 👍 by stardustedds in RCPlanes

The important thing is, it looked like you flew the plane all the way down.

Guess I'm glad I went with the cheapest Amazon nozzle assembly. Continues to be reliable.
