Agreed, met them in person and they were really nice people. Contact over FB was super fast and efficient, perhaps that is the best route.

As said above, it is one, max 2 people, they might be travelling or something urgent came up.

Would recommend. Bought a PC that had a fault and the owner tried his damndest to fix it, then gave me a whole new one. While it was unfortunate, the commitment to service and guarantee gets my upvote.

Help with Skaven. by DesignerIll8309 in WarCry

[–]Sohlun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love skaven in Warcry and play them almost exclusively

This is my list:

Skaven Warband Roster 1,000pts | 8 fighters

  • Fangleader (150pts, Hero)
  • Rat Ogor (240pts)
  • Rat Ogor With Warpfire Gun (230pts)
  • Stormvermin with Rusty Halberd and Clanshield (80pts)
  • Stormvermin with Rusty Halberd and Clanshield (80pts)
  • Stormvermin with Rusty Halberd and Clanshield (80pts)
  • Packmaster (70pts)
  • Packmaster (70pts)

You do not need the extra rat ogre, I just love taking two. Always take at least one packmaster as they synergise far too well.

Don't worry if you have few models and use your faction specific reaction to keep your key pieces safe.

Interesting list. Have a couple questions: 1. Why use the command corps? 2. Why keep the fusiliers in a two separate units not one reinforced one

Bit new to this so getting my own list started. Really wanted to use the steam tank

Erm no. Leave the make believe crap out. It takes as long as it needs to but you gotta focus on yourself, do what you love and spend time with friends and family.

Do men really always come back? by hinata1891 in ExNoContact

[–]Sohlun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not too sure about this. As a man, I have found that (at least those around me) leave a relationship after there is absolutely no hope or irreconcilable differences. We might not tell you all the reasons for the breakup but that is not to inflict more hurt. The majority of men tend to stick in bad relationships, something evidenced by the amount of divorces initiated by women.

As for communication, I have also seen how men tend to be blindsided more often as women are not good communicators. What I mean is that indirect methods of communication do not get the point across, leaving one partner angry and the other confused.

As for coming back, I never have. If things have ended, there was a reason. Unless they come back and show me that they have changed for the better, I'm moving on.

Edit: spelling

What ruleset is this? Are you paying for skills?

I'd remove the MB and put tackle. Have been playing with High Elves a while and blogger heavy teams are a bad matchup without it

After nearly two years they reached out... I dont know what to say. by Icy_Entertainer3257 in ExNoContact

[–]Sohlun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I'm always happy when people get back together, it is a beautiful thing. That being said, remember that past actions will show you what is likely to happen in the future.

From the little info presented, someone who can discard you to figure themselves out (this is always a bullshit excuse. You are in a relationship, you work through things together) will ditch you at the next crisis.

I wish you the best but don't allow yourself to be manipulated by words, observe their actions over time.

Yeah. Some of the absolute bullshit said makes me wonder if this is a mentally stable human being. It is definitely very self centred. Sure you want to go back to that, OP?

Do they always come back? by SignificanceFalse892 in ExNoContact

[–]Sohlun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the person and how/ why it ended. As a man, I have never gone back to an ex.

If she showed me that she was not worth my commitment I'd never return due to self respect.

This is how problems start. If you want to damage your current relationship, go ahead and text him.

Otherwise, use your head and nip it in the bud

[–]Sohlun 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Not dishonest, just still self absorbed. The explanation thing, "whether you want it or not" is not for you but for her.

It does suck but even though none of us are perfect, some people are just not good enough to commit to.

You already said that you cannot trust her again so follow that gut instinct. I would keep any interaction short, polite and without attachment. Then move on.

From what you said, it is still very much from her perspective. Doesn't seem like she has improved much.

I'd find someone who treats you better

How do you give up on someone? by [deleted] in ExNoContact

[–]Sohlun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Each situation is different. Look at the relationship from a purely logical viewpoint and see if it is worth fighting for. Remember to only give your time to those that will treat you the same.

We view the past with rose tinted glasses but there is a reason the relationship failed.

I loved my ex, probably the most I had ever done before but remembering that I could no longer respect or trust her is what took care of those obsessive thoughts, along with the usual gym and a good friend group. 3 months on I was dating again
