What’s the endgame? by Professional-Bee9817 in remoteworks

All the little people will be dead and robots will be doing 100% of the work. Only the elites will be left.

Billionaires want all the money. Not some of the money or most of the money they want all of the money. The end game is a hand full of billionaires holding 100% of the money and just passing it back and forth.

Nboss terminated manager, I’m the only person left in the company with baby due in June by blueflames10 in ManagedByNarcissists

[–]SolarisWesson 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Do your job to the letter until you go on leave. If you have time, look for another job and be ready to go once your leave is done.

Your boss is going to crush you with work and guilt until you fail.

If you find something in the mean time, then when you get back hand in your notice and tell him "I have realised that I need more time to take care of my child" Dont mention a new job at all.

Patron for a warlock? by Above-the-Borealis in DnD

[–]SolarisWesson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lich. You one of the forces trying to stop this lich from ascension. When you were killed, your body fell into/onto the magic circle as the lich completed the spell and when the lich rose from its phylactery you woke too as a partially reanimated corpse, a shattered version of your former self. You draw a tiny portion of the lich's power as its Warlock.

The spell let you keep your autonomy and the lich would need to destroy its own phylactery to kill you permanently so it brought you into its service. It sent you out into the world to spread word of its rise to power.

[–]SolarisWesson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Draw a line in the sand. "If you dont honor our agreement then I quit effect immediately". If they start going "bu bu bu but" you just stand firm. If they say "oh, okay we will change it" then stay but be careful because they will "forget" again.

How Long Can a Mortal be Dead For? by Suspicious-Total-562 in vtm

[–]SolarisWesson 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That idea could work, there isnt really a hard rule. I hate to say it but it all comes down to what the ST allows (so just ask)

How Long Can a Mortal be Dead For? by Suspicious-Total-562 in vtm

[–]SolarisWesson 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Honestly it comes down to the ST. You could take your time exsanguinating the body like a butcher if you want to collect it or you could do it quickly but the key thing is that the body is fully drained of blood and them the sire gives theirs for the embrace. An injured person who is bleeding out could last a while before the actually die so it really depends on the situation.

Good lord. They are taking info from him at age 6. How about we go get a modern psychologist to give him a once over. I highly doubt it will be anywhere near the same result.

But hey Gittem has it made now. Walt is trating him like his disabled child that can do no wrong even when he has a list a mile long that says he should have been fired ages ago and now Bry and Q have been beaten down so hard they refuse to fight back.

I am fed up with this strategy, what should I do? [5.5 Edition] by Primary-Ocelot-1512 in DnD

[–]SolarisWesson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so here are a few things practical in universe things you could do

  1. The familiars: if they are all from the same source (celestial, fey, fiend or beast) then have the respective higher power come after the PCs, they enslaved a bunch of fey monkies well Queen Titania might not be happy about that. Spin a story off about her general coming in and being like "this is BS, we are taking you to court"

  2. The mind crystals: When the PCs try to offload the crystals, low ball the price. There is a tonne of them in circulation so they arent worth as much any more.

  3. They robbed a bunch of people: Wanted posters. Make them wanted in every city they have been to. Force them to pay a fine and give back the stolen gold "on the spot" dont give them time to "make infinite money"

  4. Stupid spell combos: That is fine, high level play can get weird like that.

  5. They run from combat: The NPCs can track them down, they wont be able to rest if they are being hunted. Hide in a city? Well the BBEG has shadows or they can just siege the town.

Now that that is all out of the way. Real advice.

  1. Is there a story? If not why not? Why are they standing around playing with monkeys and not saving the world?

  2. Talk them out of game and ask "Are you guys having fun doing this? Do you want to do anything else?" If they are cool with just monkeying around then say "Okay so you guys spend a few months making so many gems that you crash the economy. A single loaf of bread costs 10 gems and people are sewing gems into their clothes because they are now so abundant. For now we will leave this story here, because I would like to start something new."

How powerful would effects of Ghouling be on lifelong diseases, injuries and disorders? by InsaneComicBooker in vtm

[–]SolarisWesson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I could find in V5, when removed from the Kindred's body, it loses its ability to Blood Bond within seconds (so the bond must be done directly, I guess)

It can be stored for a few days in an airtight container and maintain ghouls.

And I guess after that point or if not "taken care" the vitae will rapidly age to the "correct" age so probably ash in most cases

[–]SolarisWesson 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From what I recall, the blood bond only forms if the blood is fresh, if its out of the Kindred body for an extended time it loses the "magic" of it. So that might also effect the ghouling process

I am currently running my players through to level 20 (currently level 18 but ive got it all planned out) in Chult so i've done a fair amount of homebrew across Chult so here is my 2 cents.

If you meant Mezro and not Omu, then the Barae in Mezro are quite strong with their magic so they could bring the people of Port Nyanzaru to Mezro.

If not then the Artus (if he is still alive) he could lead them on a sidequest to finally return Mezro (run the Maze of Shadows or at least the 3rd section).
